How does the 2031 1st project to a late 1st in the post or ancient Giannis yrs, where you even want to hold onto his old running mates, and when we've conceded all our (higher) 1sts in the lead-up? The realistic projection is the opposite. Again, I think you're just trying to have it both ways. If you want to sell out everything for the max win now, you're in all likelihood gonna lose later.
Not that I even agree w/ your statement in a vacuum, if that was the situation. Those guys are on cheap, long-term contracts, which we can use. In '17 3 out of the last 4 picks were Derrick White, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart. Jarrett Allen & Anunoby were in the 20's. You can get good players. I see plenty of legit prospects projected around late 1st in this draft.
