He went there a 180-190lb lean dude coming out of high school and entered the combine a 210 kinda doughed out dude who tested miserably. I wonder if getting him on an NBA regime could help his body find the right spot to be to regain some of his athletic form which would go a long way in him becoming a pretty serviceable NBA prospect.

The Kentucky guy I'd love in the second is Antonio Reeves. He could step in and help from day 1.

I don’t think teams over the second apron can buy picks (they can’t send out cash in trades).

Even if one is down on this year's draft (which I get for the top, but in the mid lottery I think it's fine), the #12 pick this year has far more average outcome than a future first. And with our window being now we're heavily inclined to get value now vs future value. So if the offer was out there, it would be an easy yes from me. Doesn't mean you can't recover future FRPs in the future.

I think it's a moot point because we can't trade 2031 and I highly doubt OKC would move 12 for it (they could get something less remote if they want to kick the can down the road), but it's very strange to me that people would not want to do that, unless there's just nobody in this draft at 12 they'd want to add.

BTW, my pick with this inconceivable 12th pick would be Salaun. That dude just is Ersan without the injury and age issues. He's a really good prospect and a perfect fit, imo. He even **** looks like Ersan with locs and a tan.

I wonder if Ersan played any tournaments in France ~19 years ago.

I don't necessarily think he's a good fit for us, but I like Isaiah Collier as a prospect, which I can't really say for a ton of players in this year's class lol.

There are many variations of Mock Drafts around the net. Others have Kelel Ware and Edey maybe Holmes gone till #23. The Live Draft thread will be very interesting.

Is there a team offering their 1st for Brook?
If there is a team offering a pick where Kelel Ware is available, you do it. Additionally Drafting Holmes #23 fixes alot of our PF/C athletism problems. Drafting both Kelel & Holmes makes us so much better.

I wish I was a member of the Front Office, I can fix this team right now without sacrificing any of Khris, Portis ... There are gems on rookie deals, on G-League and on minimum deals.

I am dreaming of a modern duo guard :

PG Andre Jackson Jr
SG Cameron Christie (#33)

They complement its other so good... AJJ attacks the rim relentlessly ... Christie is a deadly 3p shooter

Christie has a gorgeous shot, definitely got my attention. Super young prospect, how bad is his D, is he a defensive liability?

Not at all. His is super young, I love his frame at 6'5 - 6'8 wingspan. His development is easy and fast... Gain muscle/strength by lifting some weights and set him up to attack the rim more. There is a highlight were he gets the ball on the right hand corner 3, attacks the close out and goes airborn for a massive baseline dunk. This is exactly what he has to do more. He is not that good at the rim cause he is super young and has not build up his strength yet. This is the correct way to become special though... Congrats to his dad, he grew up his 2 sons learning them the essentials and polishing their mechanics and shot. This is the perfect timing for an NBA team to get him and develop him even further. Christie and Holmes in my weird mind have all star potential in 5 years. I am not saying superstar level multiple all star apperances in row... I am talking about 1-2 apperances in their career.

He's definately a project, but that shot is super promising. Add strength, defensive awareness and offensive creativity and he's a starter for us. Will need time to develop

Typical Hollywood move, this is your peers fault.

Let's stretch this last book into 2 movies.

I keep going back to Kyshawn George as the only young player I truly want..... I'd prefer seasoned players who could contribute off the bench, immediately.

Ron Swanson wrote:I question Holmes as a guy who's able to fit the role we'd need of him with scaled down usage. The gradual shooting improvement is nice, but he's not a guy with either great Center size (7'1 wingspan and 230 lbs.) nor can he really guard up or down a position. Despite the good block numbers, he's not a very disciplined defender and tends to kinda launch his body into guys when he contests. I think he'd be a great spark plug 6th man if you're moving Bobby, but outside of that, he's not a guy I'd really consider until our pick at 33.

Not sure what your expectations are for pick #23 in a bad draft class but netting a player with Bobby potential seems like a steal if you can draft him outside of the lottery.

I joke that he's a Horst pick because he's got big hair like a lot of his picks, but the kid has serious talent. Some really nice flashes defensively and he's got as nice stroke from 3. Pretty decent playmaker for a wing too. I think he ends up going in the late teens, but I'd absolutely consider him if lasts to 23.
