I've never had Whataburger. In N Out is pretty good but a bit overhyped imo. Mainly it just makes me nostalgic because before my Grandpa died he used to go to In N Out and talk about how the restaurant was so clean "you could eat off the floor." He was very impressed with the cleanliness of his local In N Out burger lol. Not sure how clean Whataburger is fwiw.
Oh mate, I gotta get you a Whataburger. Cleanliness varies I'm sure. I have 3 that triangulate my area. One closest to the house is brand new and so super clean. Another one is old, but still impressively clean, the 3rd? eh, but I go through the drive thru and just don't think about it lol.
But as fast food burgers and fries go, its top shelf. Onion rings are terrible which is a minus, but no fast food place has good rings so.
Not to interject in this love affair, but I just want to say that I've had a lot of both Whataburger and In N Out, and think they are equally good. In N Out eeks out the win in my book because of the animal fries.
I live in Michigan and we have Five Guys and Culver's here. I prefer Five Guys but it's too expensive for what you get. Cheese curds and concrete mixers at Culver's are awesome.
