Not a bad haul.

I did it 2x, both times I took Ware n Klintman.

Furphy Collier Carrington where BPA

I would not be mad either if it’s Ware and Klintman .

I went McCain because he's there, but then Missi goes next. Missi, Ware, and Filip go soon. That's the trade off. Kinda hurt. Think I like Missi more. And since I really don't know with this draft I went with Dunn. Never hurts to have great defence. I could live with McCain and Dunn. But I'd rather get a big.

I tried to trade both picks for 11, and they told me it was a lopsided trade in Chicago’s favour. So I was able to move up to 6th by trading 19 & 31.

I’m unsure of how I felt about it. I had the option of Buzelis and Dillingham, and I took Buzelis. I guess it depends on who’s available at 19, but I was a bit underwhelmed with my options at 6.

One thing that is interesting this year that I just learned is that the draft is now over two nights.

So Toronto with pick 31 has about 12 hours to make the pick. Depending on who is around, you might get some trades going down. It almost feels like having the number one pick in a way.

Just to get your opinion :

Do you prefer to have 19 and 31 OR 24 and 25 (NYK picks) ?

I think I stand pat but I could be convinced otherwise!

If Ware or Carter are available at 19, then 19.

For me the pick should be used on the BPA…regardless of the position. But looking at who they’ve brought in to date, so far it looks like they’re favoring a wing & personally I don’t mind some of the wings (TDS, Tyson, Smith, Furphy) but I don’t love them, Saluan would be the lone exception if he fell (which I strongly doubt).

If we’re looking at best player or talent, that’s going to either be one of the PGs that fall (ie Collier, Carrington or Carter) or a C (for me Ware & Edey are the only 2 I’d use the 19th on and I don’t love Edey with it but could live with the decision). Unless someone like McCain or Saluan fall it’s between one of those 5 names for me. Right now my top 3 would be Carrington, Ware & Collier. Again I don’t mind the wings but I’d let one of them fall to us at 31, if not Dadiet, Drujisic, Flowers, Dunn etc can probably turn out to be just as good.

I don’t know if it’s only me but I prefer that tool compare to the Fanspo tool. Don’t get me wrong the fanspo tool is great as well and especially good when it’s used in a live mock draft podcast.

But just for fun and quick simulation I think this tool is easier to use , is quicker and I like the odds result at the end.

If Holmes got a promise, it's probably before #19 imo. (probably a team like the Lakers who need two-way, win-now players)

I wouldn't be mad at a Filipowski + Mogbo draft

Lots of mixed opinions on Filipowski

I've never had McCain available when I've done these mock drafts (including using the Fanspo one), but yeah, if he's there you basically have to take him as BPA and figure out the rest later.

I did this three times, including one where I got Da Silva and Holmes, and another where I got Ware and Tyson. I don't think we're going to end up with any stars, and maybe not even a long-term starter, but we could end up with two solid rotation players who are playable in a playoff series (due to not being liabilities on either end), and I'd be happy with that.

Draft simulator.

Collier 36% and T Shannon 66%
Edey 51% and Dunn 76%
Ware 87% Bub 11%
Ware 87% and Djurisic 58%
Kyshawn George 91% T Shannon 66%
Carrington 91% Mogbo 95%
Edey 51% Nunez 95%
Kyshawn George 91% Enriquee Freeman 95%

If going by this a BPA sim ranking availability
#19
Collier 36% (unlikely)
Edey 51% (50-50 at best)
Ware 87% highly likely
Carrington 91% highly likely
Kyshawn George 91% highly likely

#31
Djurisic 58% likely
T Shannon 66% likely
Dunn 76% likely
Mogbo, Nunez, Freeman 95% unlikely picks

Ware and Djurisic very probable on draft days.

I'd stand pat. If you're looking for a big at that point in the draft, the best you could hope for would be Holmes or Ware and there's a really good chance both are gone by #24.

Rather just keep #19 to grab one of them and then pick from the still decent crop of guards available around the #31 range. Maybe Tyson is available there but if not, Ajay Mitchell probably will be and so will KJ Simpson.

At #19, you also still have a chance that someone like Collier falls to you.

I think Collier is fairly likely to fall. Carter and McCain are both very good prospects who are gaining a lot of steam in the pre-draft process, and I'm guessing they'll both get picked fairly early pushing Collier down.

If Jalen Smith moved up all the way to #10 in the draft Ware should be drafted in the lottery for sure. :D I guess Ware would be the pick if he drops to #19.

Warriors don't have a single 1st round pick and are somehow the only team with a recorded Jared McCain workout

I'll be curious to see if Memphis uses its first rounder or makes it available to a team taking on salary.

Is Memphis projected to be 2nd apron soon?
