This wait is killing us fans. But it's good for KP to rest up, keep rehabbing and shake off the rust.

Good for old Al too.

The Mavs don't have anyone in their rotation who's as old as Al..or coming off an injury so the extra days off certainly benefit Boston more.

Yeah, I'm fine with it, it's just easy to be impatient right now.

KP is starting. With muscle injuries being able to warm up and then start the game is typically a better idea than staying cold on the bench. But besides that if he's 100, and it appears like he is, then he's going to start.

First Game, I think that he comes off the Bench. After that, skies the limit.

The more information you can get sooner, the better. Start him, and see how he looks. This also gives him more time (in the game and in the series) to get his rhythm back. If he's good enough to go, he's good enough to go -- and if he's going to reaggravate it, he can do that just as easily checking in off of the bench as in the starting lineup.
