my man, it's never too late to experience the true joys of life: becoming a Yankees fan, experiencing One Piece adventures, playing alien politics in Mass Effect, getting scammed in Build a Franchise...

this nightcrawler and wolverine fight scene is so sick...they made nightcrawler into the badass he should be.

To be fair, it might be me not knowing enough about the original series.

And just as I say that,
Spoiler:
episode 8 ends really well, and we get to see Spiderman and a bunch of dudes I saw on Marvel Strike Force

That Nightcrawler and Wolverine fight scene was the highlight of the series for me. They went nuts

Okay my ramblings about Episode 10

Spoiler:
Cloak and Dagger in episode 10...man I loved that Marvel show. I know people didn't like it, but I felt like it handled New Orleans well and touched on some interesting subjects. DareDevil too.

Rogue has some really cringe-ass dialogue but some of her fight scenes are anime good. Sonic clap!!!! Flying kick!!!

I can watch Nightcrawler fight all day...damn. And Cyclops is still corny as hell, but they did him justice with his power and fighting ability. I respect it.

Okay, one thing Xmen does way better than anime. They're so much better with their team-up fight scenes. There's legit synergy and creativity on how they fight together.

Spoiler:
Oh shyt this end scene with the music...yo my Peter Park and Mary Jane sighting! Sad, this ending with Cyclops and Cable and Jean...wow Apocalypse!!!! They better get this season out fast...****** they better finish up my Spider-Man show

Ended on a super high note.

Next up: Freiren or Solo Leveling?

You called it!! Haha ever watch Death and Rebirth of Evangelion? That last panel was so deliberate  I

Spoiler:
Denji has been sexually assaulted twice now in Part 2, I'm not a fan of that but the look on Asa's face once she gained control was priceless.

I need to mentally prepare myself to read next week. I don't know what's going to happen with her hand full of jizz, I but I've read enough Chainsaw Man to know that something really awful is about to happen

Imagine being a studio exec at MAPPA reading this and wondering how on earth they're going to adapt this chapter. Jesus christ. I love Fujimoto

Oh yeah, I caught that right away lol

Spoiler:
It's not as bad as Shinji, but still, Asa being forced to give Denji a handjob without her consent is pretty messed up, especially cause from his perspective it was consensual

I think the funniest possible outcome is Denji gets super focused, like the ultimate post-nut clarity and actually starts getting stuff done.

Spoiler:
Yeah like all kidding aside, Yoru sexually assaulted both of them in this scene. I'm not sure how this will fly on television.

I think your theory is right. Denji probably goes "right. Well then, let's go save Nayuta!" while Asa is now traumatized for the 100th time since her first appearance

I think/kinda hope that whole mess (literally) was a result of Yoru and Asa wrestling for control. That way it's not yet ANOTHER traumatic moment in the 70 or so chapters of Asa's existence :o

Spoiler:
Then Denji goes into "Glasses Denji" mode. Asa writes a poem to rival Sentimental Drive (the most underrated funny chapter of the series). Yoru falls into existential confusion. And somewhere, Kitana Man is upset bc that's his default mood.

The End of Eva easter egg/Reverse Uno card is a wild way to end a chapter.

I seriously do hope we get back to the action or at least move closer to a resolution for the Nayuta search now.

Random Nightcrawler note: We're decades worth of comics away from it in the animated series, so I don't think this is a spoiler. But in the comics, Mr. Sinister eventually combined Wolverine and Nightcrawler's mutant genes in one person.

Now that you mention the X-Men team-ups, they really are great. I think JJK's team-ups can compete (particularly Todo's moments), but there aren't too many others where the power combos are so unique and effectively used.

Also, I LOVED all the random cameos they squeezed in toward the end of the season. It felt like a preview for what this animated universe can expand to.

Someone on Reddit said basically that this is the closest that Fujimoto has come to bringing Chainsaw Man down to the level of Fire Punch

Spoiler:
You bring up a good point: Yoru's behavior around Denji is very odd.

When Asa went to Denji's house, before Nayuta came in to lay the smackdown, Yoru took control and started to kiss Denji.

Then here again, she goes from wanting to slice his dick off and killing him to making out with him and jerking him off.

Is this Yoru being sexually interested in Denji/Pochita, or is this Asa's internal desire coming out through Yoru?

You may be right. I feel like the Sins of Sinister is too far out there to get made, but Wagnerine, the character, is so cool that maybe they'll make an excuse to use her. X23, Daken, and Wagnerine are all Wolverine lineage characters that are cool enough to pull into the cinematic universe for sure.

Yeah lol there's a whole slew of Wolverine clones and offshoots. X-23 and Dakan are cool I don't think they'll pull in the Wagner clone though.

Honestly I would like to see Wolverine get a solo trilogy like Captain America. There's a lot of stuff they can do. I don't know if Hugh has 3 more films plus team up movies in him

I see a good CSM theory based on the events of this latest chapter:
Spoiler:
Read on Twitter

I had a sneaking suspicion that the flipside of this insane chapter would be Nayuta's death is what brought it about. But I think this explanation makes more sense, particularly because Yoru didn't regain the whole memory, but rather a fragment.

Plus off-screening Nayuta's death would be terrible...

After processing that chapter and seeing the response to it by the fandom, I've come to a new conclusion

Spoiler:
I actually don't want it to be played off as a joke, to have this be what sets Denji back to looking for Nayuta because that'd send the wrong message. What happened to him and Asa there was just wrong and should be treated like it. What I want to happen is for him to essentially continue his breakdown and have him have a "no wait, I actually didn't want that" moment where he realizes fully how f*cked up what just happened was. That would lead to drama with Asa too because she also didn't want it and feels violated (I mean, she did want it on a subconscious level, but didn't consciously make the choice so it's still wrong), but she can't properly convey that to Denji because she can't tell him about Yoru taking over her body

I think (hope) that's more in line with what Fujimoto's cooking, cause that seems like what this arc has been building to, and really the whole manga is Denji not knowing what he wants, getting what he thinks he wants, and then being unsatisfied with it. Except this time instead of it just being not fulfilling, he actually gets closer to self-actualization

It won't ruin the manga if it goes the other way, you can absolutely keep going into the dark comedy aspects of it, but I think turning it into a joke would make the manga shallower and be counter to the overall themes and Denji's development as a character.
