gonna disagree, Edey doesn't need a deep ball to be a good player, he just needs his current game to scale up. everything else is icing on the cake. if his TS% scales you want him as a high usage player. he has proven he can handle a huge workload on O. if he can establish himself as that good of a scoring threat inside the doubles will come and the passing reads he will need to make will be limited and easy enough to execute. take him to the film room and run drills with him nonstop to improve his processing speed on passes out of the double team and he'll be fine.
the guy has a fantastic TS% on primary/secondary option volume. if he can jack up 2 three's a game and hit at avg rate or get his FT% consistently beyond 75% he's easily an elite scorer.
Why would you want a 7’4” 300 pound guy shooting 3’s?
On offense I want him close to the basket all the time.
I mean kind of, but you can't have him play the way he did in college, unless you are committed to dumping the ball into him on most possessions and him occupying the middle of the floor on offence. He is going to be used more like a JV, so him being able to shoot the ball when he's not trying to bang and post down low is definitely an advantage in openning up space for guys like Scottie. Don't know how it can seen as a good thing, unless you think he's going to be as dominant as Shaq was, which I don't.
Eddy will be setting way more screens in the nba

Too much hype!!! Like why can't he be better than say a Cason Wallace or Scoot Henderson? I think he's like a Coby White.
