Kyrie was off today but the biggest thing for the Mavs is finding a consistent #3 option. It has to be PJ or Green or Hardaway (lol) but I don't see someone I can count on every game for that, while Boston has no issue filling that role with 4-5 different guys who can be semi-reliable.

Jrue Holiday's had trouble in the playoffs when he's been asked to be the perimeter stopper in the last few years, however, where he becomes a menace is in the role of a rover. He understands defense so well, he's basically playing a one-man zone and blowing up all kinds of stuff once he gets off the ball.

It's not just White and Holiday. It's Brown on Luka. Holiday hasn't been much on Luka. And Tatum can guard Luka too. That's actually a great comparison. Ant was trying to force shots in the trap tatum is definitely making good reads. Yeah brown is making the highlight plays but tatum is having a very good playmaking game

Luka and Kyrie are who they've always been.

Dallas role players haven't showed up, which is league tradition for a Game 1 on the road. When they do, this could easily become a serious series.

As a Celtics fan, I of course hope that doesn't happen at least until the series gets to Dallas.
