KP came up huge for us when he entered the game in the first quarter. He almost singlehandedly demoralized the Mavs, and that is the single biggest reason we were able to pull away early.

Jaylen was great, might have been our best player, but if everyone rewatched the first half so it was fresh in their heads, KP would be winning the poll easily IMO.

This was as great a team win as we've seen in a bit. If I have to nitpick, obviously Tatum underperformed a bit (but still posted 16/11/5 and rocked a team best +/- for most of the game), and Pritch looked a bit anxious to sink some threes on the big stage, idk it just felt to me like he rushed his shots.

Jrue continues to be our most consistent presence on the court. He was underrated tonight.

1 down, 3 to go. KP plays the best ball of his career in Game 1 of the Finals after being out for 10 games and basically put the game out of reach in the 1st half. KP smokes it tonight.

Tatum was meh and they still won. Idk if that’s bad for Dallas but can’t get too overconfident. Been here before.

I think one thing that isn’t getting talked about enough is Brown’s decision making. He may have only had 2 assists on the stat sheet but he made some really timely passes all game long.

Mavs game plan is to not let Jayson Tatum beat them.

Let's see if that continues because teams did that always get blown out when the 3s of the Celts fall.

Funny thing if it was the lakers and lebum they would be all over this. Also i think the lakers even without lebum.

Tatum has to do better though. I would say brown has been more consistent than him shooting wise.

We should just put KP on ice for game 1 of the finals every year. That seemed to work well. I gave it to him.
Jaylen and JT doing some big boy drives. Great blocks. D overall was impressive. Luka got some drives, but you gotta give up something.

He’s progression this year has been incredible. To go from that horrible game 7 against Miami last year to what we are seeing now is a testament to the work he puts in.

Still 3 wins away but he’s living up to that contract each step of the way.
