It just feels like it’ll only occur if he beats the odds. Guys who show terrible effort rarely figure it out when they get to the league. And I don’t think Embiid will be the one to lead him to water. As I said before, Ware plays like a lazier Embiid except he’s not scoring 35 ppg and doesn’t have the defensive “switch” to completely shut down the paint.

Will Rob Dilingham be better than Maxey? Why not?

Was Maxey this good in shot creation as a freshman?

Wow, Terrence Shannon just fell off the face of the earth. Lottery talent in the mid 2nd round now.

If this kid is still there when we pick in the 2nd round, doesn't he have to be the pick? Someone's going to get him and reap the benefits when (if) he grows up.

What the hell is this mock draft. McCullar, Shannon, and Tyson all fall to the second? Filipkowski too? If they're just going to hand out Dillingham past the top 10, I'd be game to trade up and grab him. Or just draft Ja'Kobe Walter and call it a day. This mock is if GMs start to lose their minds.

If you want a shot at Batum like prospect, Dylan Disu is the guy. Major strides. Very good defensive profile. Shot out of his mind last year.

from limited research on him, Topic sounds like a no3/noD guard with borderline NBA athleticism and a knee injury who will need to play on the ball to have any value

why would he be a must draft?

I don't think gets drafted at all, at this point.

The felony rape charge might be far too incendiary. Teams were probably hoping this would have been resolved by now. They haven't set a court date yet.

If the you delve into the numbers, Maxey was a better shotcreator who scored far more unassisted buckets than Dillingham did. And he did it nearly 50 pounds heavier.

Dillingham gives me Kira Lewis vibes. Might be too tiny and puny to be a star.

Jakobe Walter sitting there at our pick would be a dream come true.

I would Gangnam Style walk that pick to the podium.

Aside from being able to run an offense with PnRs, he shot 87FT% on 30 3pt%, the hope is his shooting has a good chance in improving.

Still liking Tristan da Silva. He looks like the kind of player that will be in the league for quite a long time. Good size, good shooting, and smart.

I saw a comparison for Carrington that I like: twitchier Caris LeVert. He’s obviously shorter, but I think he’s way ahead of what Caris was as a freshman and is a better shooter; so giving him a year of the Blue Coats will get him ready to take on a larger role by his sophomore year.

Just not on our team. Unless he plays SG and we have lengthy athletic 3&4 who can provide defense and rebounding

Yeah Da Silva looks good except for the putrid rebounding numbers. Unless we somehow get a beast rebounding SG like Devin Carter to go with him, that lack of rebounding is a big problem.

If we didn't have Maxey as a second star, I unfortunately think Jared McCain is going to be one of the guys that becomes a real player in this league. My only concern for him is his ability to actually run as the PG. His basically neutral W/S is going to be an issue on defense, or at minimum it'll be limited on who he can guard. But he got his FTr up a decent amount near the end of the season and his shooting numbers are some of the best in this draft. I also think his offcourt personality lends to the type of guys who pan out as stars in the league.
