I’m taking all these as positives. If one of the jays carried us dropping 40+ you would expect naturally they wouldn’t do that the next game. But to see there’s signs of areas where we could be even better is scary for the Mavs.

If Mavs game plan is to slow Tatum down by doubling and let the Celtics shooters shot clean open threes it’s gonna be a quick series.

It was a great win. What I liked most was the mindset of the Jays. They didn’t settle for the 3. They kept attacking the paint, created for their teammates. If they can keep that mindset, and KP continues this way, it won’t be a long series.

I love Jrue. He’s so in control. I hate having to bring up Smart’s name to prop Jrue more but zero turnovers from Jrue is huge and it just felt like with Marcus he would have a couple of those boneheaded ones at random points in the game. Shot selection was great too. Never rushed anything offensively besides 1 pull up three in the third. Such a great player and fully understand why he’s a winner after having some questions early if he even was a big upgrade over smart.

Shots didn't drop, but he did everything else. And KP/JB leading the way on the balanced attack, JT scoring just wasn't really needed.
