Seems like Porzingis is going to come off the bench the rest of the series.

Whatever makes the team better.

KP also not playing in Game 4 of the Indy series is paying off now.

The extra 1.5 weeks has apparently made that calf stronger.

He's been coaching wonderfully all year IMO. I think a lot of the times in the RS where he would leave things seemed more about live learning opportunities for the players to develop their understanding and reading of the game on the fly. It takes balls to do that while taking the heat for some losses, but just look how calm JB is now with the ball, he credits Joe for that, did any of us think it possible after last year? Our whole team is (for the most part), calm, poised and crystal clear about their assignments on offense and defense, right down to the end of the bench.

I have been vocal all year that I think he will be different in the playoffs (in terms of timeouts, adjustments and plays) and thus far he has not made me look a fool.

It’s cookies & cream on the menu all the way to #18, served by our pit bull backcourt

Was very happy they got a chance to get him in and in the Finals history records. Brissett had the one opportunity but he goofed it.

JB also doing a good job becoming the leader of this team.

Told the team, in the locker room, it's just one game.

This might be a different series if Nembhard was playing.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Something to think about.

The Pacers allowed JT and JB to average 60 points per game in the ECF and 3 out of the 4 games were close.

In this game, the Jays were a combined 36 pts and the game was not even close.

Will Dallas continue to limit the Jays and let the Cs continue to shoot 3s?

Indy generated so much offense.

They had 7 players averaging in double figures in the playoffs.

Multiple players attacking in different ways really tested the Celtic defense.

Exactly. If Irving missed a game who would take his place? Not a guy who can shoot, score and pass like Nembhard did. Dallas’ roster is pretty thin and relies on 2 guys going off. They can still win the series but if all 6 Celtics starters are dialed in, the Celtics have too much firepower and too much of an advantage defensively as well.

That's why it was so amusing a lot of the ESPN guys and other mainstream media outlets predicted the Mavs would win.

My fav was the guy saying that we only won cause KP got got.

Sure he came in and dominated but he only scored 20 points which is his season avg.

We don't need KP but he sure as **** makes it easier.

Worse playoffs in 300 years according to most in the illustrious GB.
It’s salt season.

Just watched the whole game. Brown for the VC, KP with the CP. Tatum did everything right except to score. He’s back to taking side step 3’s. Tough fade away turn arounds, and euro stepping. We can probably survive at our home court with JT playing average, but we need him to be aggressive on the road for us to have a chance there.

Last night we had nice dunks by KP, JT and JB. Maybe a first in a league with fewer dunks than ever.
