I get the Celtics are the best team in the East because of that starting 5. Raps SL can't compare to it. That wasn't the point.

The point was players 10 to 15 on a roster barely play any real minutes, and even players 7 to 9 play minimal important minutes, so focusing on that as the weak point of the team is useless.

The Raps need to develop their core into better players and that is where the real growth/development and winning for the team will occur.

I get what you are saying, but you cannot have the drop off from your SL be : NBA starter -> G league player. Even using the "worst case" scenario with the celtics, their 7th and 8th guys played over 20mpg in the reg season and 20/15mpg respectively in the playoffs. Suggesting that 35mpg are "minimally important" is absurd.

Hell take a look at the Knicks, without their 7/8th guys, they wouldnt have even made it to the 2nd round. Your reserves become increasingly important the worse your SL is, and ours isn't very good.
