30. Johnson is receiving some late first-round buzz following an impressive performance at the draft combine. Though he’s raw, the Celtics have a lot of depth as is, and it could make sense for them to take a swing here.
54. The Celtics re-signed Payton Pritchard last fall, but that shouldn’t stop them from taking a chance on a player who could end up being better. Pullin is a knockdown shooter, and his size gives him defensive versatility. If his ball handling translates, then he could earn minutes sooner rather than later.
Can't say I love it. Lots of other guys still on the board at 30.
Ajay Mitchell still on the board at 54. Ringer has him way higher on their big board (32) than Pullin (50), but opt not for him to go til 57. Jaylen Wells laston at 58. Pullin is intriguing, though, from their full write up.
KOC has Ingram, Scheierman, and Flowers at 32, 33, 34. Those were the three guys I have liked so far for 30 ( that I thought might reasonably be available there). I do also like that Wells kid that Hal zeroed in on. Maybe 54 on him, though. There are others I like, too, but I don't think Brad will take anyone who can't shoot. I mean, I like Dunn, and he would be a massive hit if he ever learns to shoot. Who knows, maybe he takes a swing on upside. Best guess, though, is a wing who can shoot. I'm okay with a PG with some size, too.
