But I agree, maybe not play games with KP’s health. I don’t have many criticisms this series, but that and not taking him out when he hobbled himself against Miami doesn’t sit right.

Idk man, if the Mavs can't win a game like this IDK how they win the series. This was a game they absolutely should have won when you factor in all the numbers. Mainly how poorly we shot from 3. This is the type of game we are supposed to lose, and we won.

I think we got fortunate to play Dallas. I felt it was a good matchup for us. I can’t believe Tatum continues to play like garbage in nba finals. Hope KP is good.

He is, however, scoring like garbage.

Dude has been terrible shooting wise in the finals. Terrible.

Dallas played great on D and the boards and didn’t shoot well from 3 or FT line either. There’s a path to them stepping it up in game 3. Hopefully that’s when our 3s start dropping as well and it won’t matter.

Pacers might have been the best team the Celtics would have played lol. The Mavs are on their last legs. Luka can't do anymore and our perimeter defense has effectively taken Irvin out of the series.

Jrue the easy VC. Despite the bad scoring I'm going JT for CP with one off the triple double.

JT is an OK choice by stat line and timely plays alike.

But I think he had a lot more defensive responsibility for Luka than White did, and Luka went off.

So: White.

Obviously, that's about CP, since Jrue should be unanimous for VC (excepting those who always vote Other).

JT had responsibility for 1-5 on defense and getting boards on top of excellent distribution.

Mind you, I wouldn’t argue team, White or JB (even with 6 TOs) for CP, so really each their own.

He cooked the Mavs from the perimeter on drives all night. He had almost no problem getting by whoever.

What happened once he was past the first defender is a different story. But he had no problems with their first defender off the dribble.
