Tatum is struggling to find his shot. If he figures it out which I can't believe I have to sit here and wonder if he will, they should have no problem winning this series.

Winning a game with Tatum scoring as inefficient as last night baffles me.

Dallas is probably wondering how that's possible. They got 30 plus from Luka, good numbers from their role players, Tatum couldn't really score effectively and they still lost. In fact they almost got blown out if not for a mini meltdown by the Celtics to end the game.

Tatum not scoring well, Boston shooting terribly from deep, the opposing star going off on offense. That's close to the boiler plate way to beat this team and the Mavs didn't take advantage due to missing FTs, turn overs, and Irving stinking.

That was the game for the Mavs if they don't have something break their way very very soon Boston in 5 is going to look like a great call and we will be talking about the draft and which guy should be the 15th roster spot.

Irving can't be this bad all series. But neither can Tatum.

Tatum is doing everything but scoring which is great but he's avg under 20. If you was told that before the series started you would of thought they were in deep ****.

Dallas needs both Kyrie and Luka to go off just to have a chance and I said that all along. They can go off and still lose by 15.

The Celtics are just better and it's not even close. Losing this series how would basically be the biggest choke in Boston sports history.

I am kind of surprised at the Dallas defense though. They've been pretty good at making the Celtics work hard and held them to a really modest at best output.

Dallas offense on the other hand looks like from the 90s.

Once the Celtics 3s start fallen I think it will put into perspective how bad Dallas defense has been.

Tatum has shot the ball over .500 Pct in the playoffs in just 3 of 16 games and has shot the three point ball over .400 Pct in just 5 of 16 playoff games.

For you to say he won't have 3 bad shooting games in a row is interesting.

Just imagine if Tatum shot decent. That’s an easy 30pt triple dub.

Tatum has shot 12 of 38 in 2 games. If he has a good game shooting the ball and our guys maintain a decent level, C's would blow out the Mavericks by 20+

Well like it or not, deserve it or not, the Narrative on Tatum is solidifying. He is getting "Memed" relentlessly. I really hope he steps up and explodes for a great game. But getting 18 is still top Priority.

Ya it's a bad observation. The best we can hope for at this point is for him to NOT be horrendous shooting.

I don't think Tatum is nervous, players just go through shooting slumps. I do agree with Fierce1, when Tatum breaks out of it then lookout. It won't be fair.

Eh I don't think so. His scoring is completely off but he isn't letting it affect other parts of his game. He's still mostly making the right plays, except for the couple dunk attempts at the end there, being a beast on the boards and playing good defense. He needs to stop overthinking and play simpler when it comes to scoring, don't pass up wide open 3s, take it to the rim instead of fading away if Exum is on you etc

Mavs will be throwing their best punch in Game 3.

But the Celtics can strike first if the 3s start falling early.

Celtic players to watch out for are JT, Al, Sam, and PP.

If any of those 4 get hot from 3, early, Cs might get a big lead early.

Also, Luka always has a bad game in every series.

If it happens in Game 3, Mavs will have a really big problem.

Game 3 is the only game the Mavs should win. That's how I seen it all along anyway.

Boston will be fine though. They only have to win 1 and then have two home games to win the title if they need them.
