That Game 2 was Dallas' best shot imo. Dallas isn't a big home/road team (same record in the regular season home/road) and Boston missing all their threes and Doncic starting 9-12 is exactly what they need and they missed out on it.

Yeah, Dallas missed out because a bad shooting night for the Cs usually results in a Celtic loss.

And every time that happens, Cs bounce back in the next game.

Game 3 will really be interesting.

Its sort of incredible me that Tatum has 43/29 shooting splits in these playoffs and the C's are 14-2 in the playoffs.

It used to be that Tatum needed to drop 30+ every game for the C's to win playoff games, becasue the only creators were him and Brown. Now White, Prozingis and Holiday can all go 20+ any game and the Jays can just play a much more all around game. Tatum distributing, Brown beings awesome on defense, both stem from getting more offensive options which allows the Jays to put more effort into other areas of their game.

Its sort of the inverse of the Mavericks. Luka and Kyrie NEED to create everything for hat team, which is exhausting. It makes them toast on defense, more so then they already would be. Its one reason heliocentric basketball is hard to win with. Distributing the offensive load a bit allows everybody to play up in other areas.

I get some of the criticism Tatum has been getting...but should he just keep shooting contested jumpers and driving 1 on 3 all game for the sake of his stats!?

I know "hockey assists" don't count in basketball but Tatum's play has resulted in us being up 2-0.

Look at what we did to the Mavs while Luka "won" the points stats...

I hope Tatum plays just about exactly the same, but is able to convert on some of these shots. These guys typically play well on the road, and very well coming off a loss or with their backs to the wall. Obviously in the driver's seat now, so curious how they handle it.

Winning is all that matters i agree, but Tatum is just shooting horribly, and its in the finals. He was great on all the other aspects, but we need him to sink most of his shots to beat the mavs in their home floor. Some of the shots he’s missing was point blank layups. Some of it was due to taking it weak inside. Tatum’s shot looked broken, that i don’t actually have confidence he can make a basket at all. I hope he gets his shot back soon. We can beat the mavs on the road if we shoot great.

Yes. Like JB locking up Kyrie multiple times in the first half, those are highlights that don't make it into the highlight reels.

Jrue holiday with 18 pts in the paint last night a lot of which was with him in the dunkers spot.

Where was elite top big man derreck lively? The mavericks big rotation has been unplayable.

And their guards have been abysmal defensively and neither did **** in the fourth quarter offensively.

Luka more and more is looking like Joel against us over the years. Scores early and just gradually runs out of gas and folds as the game goes on.

Entire locker room looks focused 100% on his words. Normally you see guys finishing convos, looking around, kinda paying attention, but he's got taken command of this team. A far cry from the guy we saw start last season. Credit to the players and assistants for realizing the goal, taking it serious, and not just talking about the goal, but also credit to Joe for leading the way.

Not sure how that's an excuse for shooting bad the entire playoffs. Shooting sub 30 from 3 the whole playoffs is absolute ass. Get to the freaking line or finish at the cup to offset that.
