We're old - need some youth/size
23 to Minnesota / 27 + 37 to Milwaukee
27. Kyle Filipowski, PF/C Duke
32. Bobi Klintman, PF International
37. AJ Johnson, PG/SG International

AJ Johnson is interesting for the 2nd rounder. He has significant core potential, he's young, & performed pretty well in the scrimmages. In addition was a 5* recruit before going int'l route. Went poorly, but we've seen that before. Good size for a pg (could play 2), change of speed, feel, smooth shot, & competitive on d. Would prefer this as a swing over a Chomche. It'd be a risky pick & likely take time to develop though.

If you kinda just ignore skill archetypes, McCain has the most "Jrue" type profile and physical tools in the draft. Dude just has a nose for the ball and great instincts on defense. Devin Carter has been my guy all along, but I'm not moving up into the lottery just to snag him. He's a guy who's much closer or already may be at his ceiling. McCain is already a really solid player with so much more upside, due to the shot-making/scoring ability.

McCain is 6'2 with 6'3.5 wingspan.
Zero explosiveness in his game, pretty slow for his size. He is smart but he is not going to have the ball in his hands to use it. I'd rather draft Bronny James than him. This is how low I have him. He is 6'2 Nwora for ef sake ... please Horst don't do it

Jaylon Tyson still the best offensive ceiling guy out of all the late-1st/early 2nd round wings IMO. Maybe George has a case, but he's not this level of pick & roll operator. There's some Brogdon/Derrick White flashes there.

With all the trades being bandied about for above butt level role players I really hope they just take two swings with these picks if not acquire a higher pick.
If they do go the trade route, who do you guys think are some prospects on their rookie deals we could get for our picks that may have a shot at breaking out. The Suggs pipe dream is over. What about someone like Dyson Daniels?
My number one hope is ware. Perfect combo of upside and need. I think Kel El and Dillon Jones would be a home run draft class

Furphy looks nice in the two minutes I looked at him. Reminded me of the dick Dunleavy Jr

What do people think of Walter if he starts dropping to the late teens?

You and I are going to will him to Milwaukee! I need it.

Does Marjon + 33 move us up or down? If what I’m told is correct, dumping Marjon gets us under the second apron.

Can’t speak for others but Walter falling out of the lottery is a ‘try as hard as possible’ trade up scenario for the Bucks.

I just have to believe, in this draft, somebody takes a shot at Ware in the top 10. On talent alone he's as good as anybody.

I'm sure there's a team out there that will roll the dice on him for diddly squat. Marjon + 33 likely gets us to 33

He's not slow, and had good lateral quickness. Not a high upside player, but he takes care of the ball, can real, really shoot it, and shows intrigue as a defender.
Probably the closest thing in this draft to Andrew Nembhard.

He's really really skilled, but won't be the only really intriguing player available at 33.

I think Ware would be a great fit for Sacramento at #13. Rim protector and floor spacer they really need.

If we are working out McCain and McCain agrees to it have to think we have the potential to get a higher pick somehow.
