I hope we work him out. So far not a peep of any interest

Most of the time we pick players whom workouts weren't even published publicly until after the pick was done during an interview.
Miami likes to play to those mind games, sometimes showing no interest is actual interest. There were rumors after the

This is not true. Most of the players we picked were reported in some fashion that we worked them out before the draft. Maybe not by the Heat but either agents leaking out to reporters or players themselves. It just seems that way from previous years due to lack of investigative research but now everyone wants to know who’s working out where and social media is a different animal.

I listed twitter post even back to when Tyler Herro and Achuiwa were reported before the draft working out with us. We even worked out Josh Richardson and took him but that year did not work out Winslow. The slap in the face is that it was reported that we worked out Booker by every local media guy and loved him but we got sucked into the player dropping value vortex with no workout that hurt us from spotting Winslow’s major flaws.

This one with Devin Booker absolutely stings. What a goof.

NBA must have good intel on these guys that they probably aren’t falling much out of the lottery. Carter for sure does not feel like he will be there at 15.

Dillingham, Topic, McCain, Da Silva, Collier, Ware, Flip are next in line per most mocks.

If that green room holds true, we are getting someone exciting at the least.

So far, unless we work him out, its looking like well be filling that hole with a 2nd rounder or undrafted prospect. Pretty much everyone we've done in the 15 range is a guard or big. I don't expect there to be any hidden/secret workouts, or them taking players sight unseen. Word gets out too much nowadays and I don't think they have drafted a player without a workout since Winslow.

What a distinct prospect. 6'4.5 without shoes. Strong and coordinated but not explosive. Nice blend of force and skill in his game. Completely ground bound. Seemed to be the center of a heliocentric offense at Weber State. Created almost all his own offense. Took a jump as a playmaker for others this season.

Viability will of course largely depend on his 3 pt shot being real with more volume, and even more importantly, having the feet to dance with faster forwards on the perimeter.

Wild stat: Dillon Jones created 86% of his own offense within the 3 pt line
Wild stat 2: Dillon Jones has 10 total dunks and 5 total blocks over the past 2 seasons

He's a hustler. Feet a little slow as he can't always seem to keep them under him when mirroring a ballhandler, but he has good body control and seems to have very good hand eye coordination.

At close to 240 pounds he’s beefy. Crowder played at similar weight and Tucker checked in at 245. Both can nail the 3, switch like demons, set crushing screens, and rebound. Tucker has a 6’11 wingspan. Dillon Jones shares Tucker’s size and characteristic's. Very interesting player indeed.

I’m not ready to say Jones can switch like a demon. But I like his unique blend of skills. Questions about if he’s a play finisher, if his shot is real, and how his game will translate to a completely different role at the nba level.

Interestingly, Da Silva's name is not anywhere to be found on the Hoopshype workout tracker. Have you heard of him working out for any teams?

List of top 45 prospects that do not have any verified team workouts listed on Hoopshype workout tracker (at least 1/3 of the projected first round prospects):

- Stephon Castle
- Alex Sarr
- Matas Buzelis
- Reed Sheppard
- Rob Dillingham
- Jakobe Walter
- Bobi Klintman
- Tristan Da Silva
- Daron Holmes
- Johnny Furphy
- Kevin McCullar
- Justin Edwards

List of top 45 prospects that only have one verified team workout listed on Hoopshype workout tracker:
- Yves Miss (POR)
- Nikola Djurisic (MIN)
- Tyler Kolek (UTA)
- Isaiah Collier (MIA)
- Bub Carrington (SAC)
- Cody Williams (WAS)
- Dalton Knecht (POR)
- Pacome Dadiet (ORL)
- Kyle Filipowski (ORL)

I highly doubt that more than 2/3 of the likely first round picks in the upcoming NBA draft will either not workout for NBA teams or will only workout for 1 NBA team.

A lot goes unreported before the draft. A lot more info to come leading up to the draft, as well.

He could be part of a 2nd wave of prospect workouts. He had a proday where he worked out for teams but now looks to be going through privates this week or at least rumored. I don't think we worked out JJJ until the week prior to the draft or at least that's when it was reported. Still have some time to get more guys in if they want

Rob Dillingham is one of the Kentucky Wildcats who will be selected in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, but he has a few things to take care of first.

According to Jonathan Givony of ESPN, the reason Dillingham was held out of the NBA Combine drills was an ankle injury he was dealing with. For Dillingham to be taken in the NBA Draft and one of the players selected to attend the 2024 NBA Draft, he will need to complete these combine activities. Givony went on to say that Dillingham will finish his combine activities at the Lakers practice facility on Friday. This will give the former Wildcat an opportunity to show off his ability to handle the ball, create his own shot, and shoot the three-ball.

Dillingham has been slipping in the recent NBA Mock Drafts, and it has to be because of the ankle injury and the fact that NBA Scouts haven't seen his combine workouts yet. If Dillingham goes out there on Friday and lights up the stat sheet in the Lakers practice facility, he will work his way back into the top ten.

The former Wildcat is too elite of an offensive player not to be selected in the top ten of this draft. He will be a game-changer for a team on the offensive side of the floor and is a player who very well could average 15+ points a game as a rookie if given a good amount of minutes.

If this workout goes well on Friday, the hype will once again surround Dillingham, with the draft only a few weeks away.

LOL of course Joe Cronin is trying to exhaust assets to secure two top 10 picks in the draft that has the worst selection of top 10 prospects in ages.

If only Miami could have benefited from Portland's ineptitude rather than being the focus of its scorn

ATL willing to trade down again to secure extra assets. Would tread carefully if I were them. Getting too savvy here could be a mistake. Pretty wild how a center who lacks mobility might jump extra mobile Sarr. Seems like a paradox in todays game.
