Obviously a huge loss for not just the Clippers and Lakers, but for the sport as a whole. RIP.

Even if I am not here anymore after the conclusion of the NBA Finals, take this mantra with you.

WIN FOR WEST.

Don't let his legacy with Clippers be in vein. You've automatically lost the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander trade. Everyone will probably be gone. Clippers could be in for five years of competitive misery with just Leonard and a bunch of role players to showcase their talents for other teams to leech off of. Time to let go of the past, own up to your mistakes, do things you're afraid of doing, even if it taints your image, and face your fears.

"Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!" - Lily Tomlin, The Magic School Bus

If there's any reason for the Clippers to run it back this season, it will not just be for the new dome.

WIN FOR WEST.

Jerry definitely bled the Purple and Gold. He passed away and never has to watch the Celtics hoist another banner.

After Kobe died, Jerry confirmed that he was the guy that kept Kobe from signing with the Clippers:

Now, he gets to re-unite with Kobe and talk basketball for eternity. RIP Jerry. Wish we could have hoisted a banner while you were with us.
