Also on Bone Tomahawk

Spoiler:
The deputy's death scene was horrific and messed me up to the extent that I had to pause for a bit, but frankly the scene towards the end where they walk past the two pregnant Troglodyte women who had all their limbs cut off and were blinded ruined me. I was hoping so badly that they would end their suffering on their way out, but I guess they didn't want to alarm any of the remaining Troglodyte men.

Zahler's movie after Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99, is pretty good imo. Vince Vaughn is fun in it. Don Johnson too. A bit slow to start but it certainly picks up. It's over the top. On Hulu. And Netflix I believe.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Furiosa was friggin great. Glad I caught it in the theater.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Godzilla Minus One was great for a mindless monster movie. I love it when a writing, acting, and production team understands the assignment and aces the test.

As usual, I'm right on top of things.

Does anyone know if The Last Ship had a planned conclusion?

I don't feel like watching 56 episodes if there's no ending.

Thanks in advance.

To add to this, Zahler's movie Dragged Across Concrete I enjoyed as well. Vince Vaughn and Mel Gibson are great. Takes a bit to get going, then takes off.

An episode into Presumed Innocent. I liked the novel and loved the 1990 movie.

I don't know about some of the casting choices. O-T Fagbenle is doing something totally bizarre with an accent and it's distracting as hell. So is Renate Reinsve, who so far doesn't work as Carolyn Polhemus at all.

There's no Sandy Stern or Dan Lipranzer, and I'm assuming they're doing it out of respect for Raul Julia and John Spencer, but those are two pretty big characters to not have around.

I don't know if this is going to work for me but I'll give it a shot.
