He played better than that 3 because they kept forcing it so Luka could go at him and he kept holding his own for the most part. even stopped kyrie once that I can remember. imagine rarely playing, really the second half of the season, and you get thrown into the NBA FINALS! That guy worked his butt off and it was huge for us. Watch how the other guys kept bigging him up after Joe pulled him when he made the 3. WONDERFUL!

Assuming we get the chip, does Al's number name go into the rafters ? I say yes, he has given our team great service and he has been really important in this playoff run when we have missed Zinger.

I can see the argument against it, but am definitely comfortable with Al Horford being honoured with a jersey retirement

I noticed it too. He was really composed and held his ground. He wasn't quick, but he sure knew how to position himself to not let the other guy go past him. He was a tough defender for Luka, they've got the same listed height, but it feels like Tillman knows how to use his body strength just as well as Luka does. I was really happy with the way he played and when he took the 3 I was like in my mind "GOD PLEASE NO", but when the ball went in I was like "XAVER **** TILLMAN!!!!!!"

Even though Brown deserves to win this one and Tatum probably deserves to finish 2nd, I went Hauser and Tillman to highlight 2 bench players who played great in their specific roles. Jrue and White really played well on both ends of the court. White with a really clutch 3 when it was needed and Jrue not only didn't commit a turnover but he had some nice passes.

Tillman played really well on D, hit that 3 and in a game like today if Tillman wasn't a bench player, he would probably never been called for that moving screen. He has had a really great attitude from what I'm observed...not complaining about playing time but being ready to contribute.

Hauser shot well and had some nice defensive plays for a player who is obviously out the court for his ability to space the floor.

I'd like to see Horford have a huge game to win the series and PP to hit some 3's as well.

We were +11 in the 6 minutes Jayson Tatum sat. Take a bow, JB. It was the unit he led late in the 3rd that got us the big lead. Then we just made enough plays in the fourth to close it.

Mazzulla just wanted another "clutch" win in the books, hence the PP minutes. 6-0 now in the playoffs.

He clearly learned from last ECF’s failure and he has shown up repeatedly these playoffs when required.

Teams can now put all their effort into Tatum and it doesn’t matter because Brown is capable of creating offence and being clean with everything he does.
