If you're your team's best offensive player, how the hell do you try to take a charge with 5 fouls on you?

Well, maaaaybe if you had your feet set while the opponent was still two paces away ...

That 6th foul was a little shaky the more I watch it. But Kidd cannot continue to let Jaylen attack him in isolation. I get that it tends to bog down our offense, but even if he doesn't get in foul trouble, it just tires Luka out.

I look at that play and think bang bang play on.....but once reviewed it's just technically a block.

Luka caught JB with his knee making JB fall to the floor
JB changed his course to the left at the right time resulting in a foul

Luka should be fined for the 'cash money' gesture to the refs though

Unpopular opinion here I feel sorry for Luka

He suffered a pretty brutal injury to his chest/ribs in game 1. In the regular season (and maybe some playoff games) he wouldn't be playing these last couple of games.

He didn't have a great game but let's not be as tasteless as that Jonah Hill lookalike Brian Windhorst.

I don't want to be like arrogant Lakers or Miami flogs. Celebrate our wins without disparaging/insulting our opponents (although granted my experience on twitter is Mavs fans are awful lol)

I don't even hate Kyrie anymore

The Basketball Gods are finally looking down kindly upon us. Still can't believe it. One win to go.

Luka needs to hear the criticism of his whining, lack of defense and conditioning if he wants to make the most of his talent.

Nothing at all to feel sorry for Luka about IMO. I don't even hate him or Kyrie (anymore), but neither of them warrant any pity.

We had the same criticism of JT for constantly whining to the refs. His growth is shown also in this regard.
While he is still whining to the refs too much (some of it true - a couple of And 1s that he should have gotten), he sprints to defense, not leaving his teammates 5 on 4.
Luka did it at least a couple of times in the last game

He needs to mature and take responsibility of his play (I hope he remains a spoiled whining child though)

Doncic’s entire bag starts with him just charging the defender with this head or chest.

The foul might have been as close as a fifty fifty call but I can’t bring myself to even care about defending it. I mean, how about when Doncic literally charges his head into Tatum’s crotch?? Lol.

If you have no idea what the definition of narcissism is, just read all of Cave’s responses.

We absolutely dog-walked the competition through the entire playoffs, with Jaylen as arguably our best player, and he's still acting like he's been right all along. He's even willing to promote the idea that this is "not a real championship". Yeah, we got lucky with some matchups, but every championship team has something "lucky" you can point to.

Since Jaylen, according to him, "already cost us a few titles" he'll never be wrong, at least in his mind. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to diagnose narcissism, but certainly egomania.

Just spitballing here, but I have a firm belief that Joe Mazzulla's relative youth and somehow eccentric and unconventional personality is a major part for this team's incredible tight and close chemistry, even if it's the most talented in the NBA.
But especially he and Brad have seemed to have totally supported Jaylen (Brown) and how he conducts himself on and off court.

Jaylen is a major reason why banner #18 will be raised to out rafters.

Our culture and coaching staff have really helped nurture and develop JB into a legit top 10/15 player in the league.
