Love to see it. Considering his pops went undrafted out of college, I can only imagine how pride the dude will be on draft night.

I don't know anything about him, but apparently the Hawks worked him out recently.

A prospect for the 2nd Round:
Jonathan Mogbo

School/team: San Francisco
Position: PF
Size: 6'6", 217 lbs
Age: 22, Junior
Pro comparison: Kenneth Faried

Jonathan Mogbo helped his stock in Chicago, showing how he can fit without a jumper at just 6'6" in socks. He plays much bigger than his measurements around the basket. But he also showed how well he can handle in the open floor and process quickly as a passer.

The tools/athleticism for scoring around the basket and playmaking ability create a unique archetype that teams will find enticing in the second round.

Starting to catch up with more Sarr tape, we've said don't over think this and the entire fan base and front office is apparently doing so. His two way ability is unmatched in this class.

Reports said a team will draft him in the lottery. As you mentioned, what a proud moment it will be for him, and his family.

Maybe in this class but what about the league? Is there a player in the league he reminds you of?

JJJ is the guy I would compare him to in the league as far as upside and potential playstyle.

https://hoopshype.com/rumor/alex-sarr-compared-to-evan-mobley-and-jaren-jackson-jr/

So Mills was a scout for 76ers in the mid 2010s. It'll be a shame to let Embiid happen again falling due to Parker and Wiggins smh.

Myself see alot of JJJ in him for better or worse.

I support drafting him if we're committed to developing our young talent.

Also no idea why you're comparing our Hawks to Celts.... Hawks are going to have to build their own winner with what they have and what they can get

You talk about spacing but your top pick for #1 is Castle who can't hit threes. Please make it make sense

Castle shot .267 from 3 well worse than my 7'2" unicorn Sarr

I'm also not pushing to throw Castle into the starting lineup on a competitive team as a teenager.

Castle projects at somewhere between Jrue Holiday and Marcus Smart. Elite wing defenders who learned to shoot Catch and Shoot 3s at a top rate. Until then, Castle can come off the bench for 25 minutes a night as a defensive specialist.

Which is what we'd have to do with Alex Sarr.

(I moved this from the Okongwu thread cause the conversation literally had nothing to do with Onyeka at this point.)
