If he is smart, and I think he is, he's going to skip National team duty this summer... unfortunately out team is too reliant on him, and he's to big of an cash flow for the federation, so he'll probably Play...and I think that's a bad move cause the chances of qualifying for the Olympics are slim and even if they get there , they'll Just be one of the teams participating, not competing

He needs some rest, time to heal... he's been playing basketball all year round since he's been 17...he needs some real off time ...and by that I don't mean he should do nothing,I mean he should take some time to rest, heal and then work on his conditioning, body, meal plan...and I also think he should go to a sport psychologist, learn how to control his frustrations, stop complaining...if he did those two things(conditioning, mental strength) he would have been the Best player in the world I'm sure...sadly,I think he's content with where he is,and I don't expect any major changes

Your ignorance is overwhelming ,.... i have not seen anyone talking about trading him ,but when you have a bad Finals and are getting trashed by the media then you got to go back to the drawing board to see why when you're the best player in the Finals but didn't play like it.

Changes are not that simple. For example you couldn't teach yourself how to use quoting in a full year time.

You can believe me or not, Mavs and Luka will play exactly the same, hopefully they can reach Finals again next year. When you're in the Finals, anything is possible. Debacle like this year or winning it all.

I was sure it was over, but seeing Media reaction and Twitter reaction, I'm not sure anymore. Chances to win 4 in a row are small to none, but we might see very angry and aggressive Luka in game 4.

I don't think Luka and the Mavs are gonna go out with a whimper and will remember what propelled them during the regular season that made them believe they could win games .

Of course it starts with Luka and with JKidd ...... 1st the ball has to move and when did both of them stop trusting the pass?
The ISO game is not working and Kidd's rotation needs to reflect who is playing with confidence against Boston.

Without Porzingis Boston is small and Dallas DOESN'T need Maxi out there. THJ has lost all confidence. Exum has buried a 3 ball and went to the rack with authority for a nasty slam dunk and got banished to the bench .He needs to play as the biggest need is a 3rd guard in the lineup against Boston.
And Hardy has out played THJ vs Boston ..... I think only Lively,Exum and Hardy should be the Bench going forward .

No way, he already told it... Unless major injury he will always play for the NT.

Did I say Mavs can still win the series? I'm sure angry Luka can win 1 game alone and put a little pressure on Boston in game 5. Luka's reaction will be interesting, fight or resignation. All bashing might provoke strong answer or not. Media jumped the gun again, series might be lost, but it's not over yet. Luka kinda the wrong player to put pressure on.

His father is NT sports director. He's playing unless there's some structural damage.

Oh Sorry Bob, i misunderstand the post :banghead:

Probably Boston want to win the ring at home so next game will be easy for us but this debacle is still embarassing.

After 3 games ,it's abundantly clear that Luka CANNOT win a game by himself ......

Man, tell me honestly do you want Mavs to win on Friday and Luka plays well?

I know in your country you probably see the news a day late and might not get to see the games right away but Luka has been atrocious on defense and when you watch the lowlights you can see a big part of why the Mavs are losing to the Celtic when arguementively the Mavs had the best player and 2 of the top 3 players going into the Finals.
