Idk their Front court looks shakey. Horford is 38, KP is injury prone, hey have way to much money invested in Tatum and Brown. It goes without saying KD is an amazing add to any team, but the Celtics are not built to be a dynasty.
not a dynasty but they've been in the ecf for like the past 7 years and in the finals twice in the past 2 years. they're not going anywhere soon as long as they have tatum and brown. they're probably the best duo in the league. i think as long as theyre both together, they're ecf bound no matter who is around them imo.
Idk, the east looks like it can be better. Philly might get PG, the Heat might pull a CHeat, Bucks and Knicks will get healthy, Orlando are some baby monsters. Indiana is some frauds but you never know. I think the way the league designed the aprons, eventually the money the Celtics have invested in their team is going to cripple them as designed. The Knicks cap management is still their greatest strength and one of the reasons they keep getting better.
i dont think the bucks are good, trading away jrue made them go backwards. i guess you do have philly if they get paul george/ingram, not sure how i feel about orlando outside of banchero, i think indiana isnt good. meh. i still think boston will be able to beat all of those teams. just look at what happened in 2022. they swept the nets that had kd/kyrie, took down the defending champs (bucks), and then beat the heat to get to the finals. those are a lot of great teams they beat and that's without jrue, kp. i just feel like tatum and brown will be able to get to the ECF for majority of the years they are together.
but with that being said, i do think us at full strength is probably the only team in the east that can take them down. i think its just us and boston. i dont respect the other teams that much. we might be a stretch 5 away from beating boston.
