So sorry. Pets are family, losing family is crushing. She was a good girl no doubt.

I am super **** here for the new Carlito + Sinner men's tennis meta (it's really not meta yet, but I'm going with it). These guys are great and both are really likable, both playstyle and personality.

They're both going to win so many majors if they can stay healthy, like double digit majors. Unbelievable talent
I can't believe tennis came up with two more generational players right as the big three era is nearing its end.

I've been using a Chrome extension since Musk took over that makes makes Twitter like Old Twitter.
No advertisements, reverse chronological feed, no throttling, likes still showing up. Works the way I always wanted Twitter to work.
It's not a dedicated third party app (Musk did kill those) and it doesn't work on the phone, but I just keep a re-sized browser window open and it's a suitable solution for me.

Once you install it go to the extensions and modify it to your liking. There are dozens of options.
Every once in a while Musk makes a change that breaks it. Like when everything redirected from Twitter.com to X.com. But the developer is really good at fixing the extension within a day. When that happens sometimes you just have to uninstall the extension, visit x.com once, then reinstall the extension and things will work again.

Already using it and love it. You weren't kidding with the options. This rules.

This guy is great. I think I've shared videos of his before, but thought I would again. I'm going to make the spicy red tonight.

Speaking of awesome Chrome extensions, I was looking for a way to turn off those BS A.I. Overviews and came upon this one called, Bye Bye, Google AI. It's wonderful. I turned off AI Overviews, Sponsored Links, Shopping Blocks, and a couple other results I'll never have any interest in.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A comfy sectional that costs less than $5,000 - does it exist?

Ive been pricing new furniture lately, and damn!
I have found bargains by buying display furniture at high end furniture stores. It still seems new once its in your house. If you buy cheap crap, it will only get junkier. If you don’t have kids, get nice stuff and it will last or have some resale value. Nice leather stuff is always flippable.

One that will last? No. Bought ours for around $5k and while it's comfy, I was sitting on the arm and the board snapped (I'm only 175lbs) and 2 areas are already sunk in where you sit.

Our sectional was ~$3,000 back when we bought it and we absolutely love it. It's still in great shape after 7 years, though the chaise could use a re-cushioning at this point.
I just looked it up though and it's now $7,000. So...good luck.

Just remember that furniture, like cars, is one of those things that you HAVE to negotiate over. Don't pay sticker. Find the furniture you want, research the hell out of more affordable comparables, and then be prepared to haggle.

I don't have any problems with Scottie Scheffler, but I really wish the media would cut it with No oNE's DonE THis SInCe TiGER!! He's about to be cut from the US Open. And that's fine, it happens.
Cool! He's won a bunch of non-major tournaments; it does matter.
Cool! He's finished in the top-10 of majors really consistently; it does matter.
Know what else matters whenever we invoke Tiger's name? WINNING the majors. Scottie has...two.

The understated greatness of Jack Nicklaus.
46 career major top 3 finishes.
The next two guys total 50 (Tiger and Phil).

Waiting for Pachinko to post pics of the full-grain living room set he threw together on a rainy Saturday.
