Let him come and chuck a couple 28 footers, maybe block a shot and run a couple plays.

I assume he really wants to be on the court. My understanding is that further injury risk is pretty minimal and that he likely gets surgery after the season.

IDK if I want him to play or not? Is it worth it if he is not as explosive and not able to hold position?

If the medical staff decided KP couldn't go on Wednesday I don't really see what could possible have changed 48 hours later which this injury. This feels like a situation where KP REALLY wants to play and the the Celtics Coaching Staff is allowing him to try while everybody sort of knows the medical staff won't clear him.

Let's leave it up to KP AND the medical staff. We know he wants to play, if they say he can then I say let him. He knows he probably won't have the longest Al-like career so might see this as his only chance because you never know what the future holds. That being said, you can't trust him so the medical staff has to have the final say. If he could play, and it's going to need surgery anyways and just a pain tolerance thing mostly but you tell him no then he might feel like you're taking this away from him. I'll anxiously await the news, but understand the decision and what likely went into it either way.

Since JT and JB took the reins of the team in the bubble, the Celtics are 10-2 in closeout games vs. non-Spo-coached teams. Only losses came against Murray-less Hawks last season via Young 3-pointer with 2 secs left (Celtics were up 10 w/ 5 mins to go) and against the Raptors in double OT of ECSF G6 in the bubble.
