They have a gaping weak link that the Bucks are tailor-made to exploit. They have no size.

They just got lucky that they didn't have to play anyone who could exploit that weak link. No Embiid. No Jokic. No Towns/Gobert. No Giannis.

I stopped watching when Giannis got injured, only because the games were generally on when I was busy. I'm pretty frustrated at how we've had multiple post-seasons ruined by injury now.

Giannis has almost reached Zion's status of unavailability ... His FT routine has reached to a comedy meme status.

Khris is reaching old retiring Carmelo Anthony status

Brook is already a Disney meme, a dinosaur in no man's island tapping his chest "my bad" more than gorillas or raising his hand "my bad" more times than the times he raised his hand in the school class.

Lillard is an old Lion King ... he chooses his prays , he chooses his hunting days. Not a daily but an efficient hunter.

Pat C is like a fish out of the water. Basketball was not the sport he was playing early in his life. He moves like a robot , straight lines, his first step is basically a zero step, he is like he tries to run in a moving sand. His is the definition of a fake 3p shooter... high ark and mechanics that tricks you... they look good cause this is the way he is. He just wants to look good, not shooting with purpose.

We are a bad IQ , old team ... our core has learned the Bud's Random Basketball ...its in Giannis Khris Brook Pat C's DNA ... its basically a cancer that has no cure known to this day.

Random Basketball - Random Mindset - Random Results ...

I stopped watching once the bucks went down.

I checked back in and watch all of game 2 in the finals. It was painfully obvious Celtics were the much better team. The easiest path the a chip I've ever seen. But they did it while everyone else shat themselves.

Checked out again with the final thoughts:

Still hate the Celtics but, happy for you Jrue.
**** you Jason kidd!
**** off George Karl!

Horford is one of the best defending Giannis and Embiid. He is 100 years old and we keep waiting him to fall of the cliff but it seems he is the same player the last 4 years

Especially George Karl! The fact he had anything to say about the Jrue/Dame trade is mental, considering he ruined everyone's childhood by trading prime Ray Allen for a half season of disgruntled and old Gary Payton. :banghead: The only redeeming thing from that trade was getting to watch Desmond Mason dunk.

Horford can defend Giannis for 1 game per series.

Al Horford age factoids:

The last time the Celtics won a title was 16 years ago. Rajon Rondo was their starting point guard. Rondo is only three and a half months older than Horford.

Horford is a few years older than his coach, Joe Mazzulla.

If Horts wants to show the world (me) he is serious about upgrading the roster, he'd find a way to acquire Dyson Daniels.

Joyce Dewitt and Al Horford have never been pictured together.

I have my suspicions.

Has there ever been a road to the championship paved with broken and unavailable opponents the way this Celtics road has been?

I never liked asterisks on records. Even though I was just a kid when they did it, the 1961 Roger Maris asterisk has always seemed like an injustice.

However, in this case, I would put a giant asterisk next to this Celtics title.

Probably am a Celtics apologist at this point, but they've made most of this run save for 2 games without having Porzingis. And he's a huge part of what they do.

Really the one team they got the big break on was Milwaukee. They were able to avoid Giannis. Bucks were the only ECF team that truly could have possibly gotten four games off them. I had thought Embiid missed the playoffs, but looked back to see he played all six games against the Knicks, averaging 41mpg and scoring 33ppg.

Bottom line: Whether it is the Leprechaun at work or Brad Stevens, they've done a stunning job of player personnel management the last couple years. Brought back Horford, traded for Derrick White, Jrue and Zinger. Found and leveraged Hauser. Even Tillman contributed.

Boston is a way more legit finals team than Miami was last year or few years prior IMO

Yeah, there are no asterisks. The Bucks recent title was unfairly marred by the asterisk discussion in a similar way.

"Marred" by a few seeking clicks/views, nothing more.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

YEa Boston is totally legit, they were the best team all year. They just got lucky in that all this happened so they got a cakewalk. Very good chance they win anyway but with how this played out they were essentially given a freebie. But, they of course deserve. Dominant regular season and playoffs. They lost their C for the playoffs too but they still have such a good team it didn't matter (plus the other teams were down more guys). And they're a younger team less likely to be injured, so again something they are 'better' at. And generally a more cohesive team that didn't have to rely on 'turning it on' or figuring it out come playoffs, another thing they're better at.
