If any team could be the first to ever blow a 3-0 lead the Celtics of the past few years would be at the top of the list. I thought adding Jrue and the Jays being older would alleviate the choking somewhat, and I still do believe that, but after witnessing THAT, I’m a little shook. I think we still win this series and I think we do it Monday, but if we lose that game…

Let’s be real, if the C’s had choked Game 3 away and then had blown out the Mavs tonight in Game 4 by 38, we’d all be ready to gas up the duck boats.

They played like dogsh*t. It’s not ideal, but they have a 3-1 lead, going home to a TD Garden crowd that’s going to be absolutely insane on Monday.

The sky isn’t falling.

This game was all about Lively dominating the paint. I watched the entire game, and the plays that stood out to me the most were involving Lively in some way. Luka and Kyrie got theirs, but nothing out of the norm. Lively was the big difference maker tonight.

We had like 15 straight horrible possessions in the 4th quarter of game 3. Even coming out of game breaks.

Joe can see the macro level of the math behind shooting threes or what the team/players need to do in a general sense, but he has zero feel for the game at all in real time.

Very glad we managed to hold on.

They almost choked away a 21 point 4th quarter lead and then get completely annihilated tonight. I think some concern is warranted.

Smart to look at how the Heat handle this core every **** year. Just run the same plays Spo does and the Mavericks have a shot. This core is absolutely **** cursed. If they don't win on Monday, might as well keep the trophy in Boston for Game 7.

The Celts need to change a few things up.

We had been very stagnant even at the end of the last game. So now we have a chance to mix it up a little bit, offensively, defensively, energetically, personnel, game management, we have to adjust. The NBA playoffs in 2024 is about game-to-game adjustments not just roll out the ball and set some high screens & win the 3pt shot margin.

So let’s get to work and make those adjustments
