I think Cleveland hangs up if offer doesn't include Lamelo.

The Cavs might do LeVert + #20 (+ Niang if necessary for salary) for Bridges. They are not trading real player value for him.

I'd be all the way out on Miles if I were Altman.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Bro check Miles stats these last few years.
That offer is a slap in the face.
This is basically a swap of 2 players who are 20+ppg scorers.
Neither Bridges or Garland bring value on defense. What the extra value Garland brings to the table?

Yeah, part of it is the baggage. Bridges is one more incident from being out of the league.
The other part is that Bridges is a UFA and thus doesn't receive equal value back in trade.

Not sure this fits the CBA rules for trades, sending a max deal out for a way under max deal
And no why would Cleveland do this
And no why would Cleveland do this

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

He can legitimately run your offense.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Not saying that Garland is getting traded to Charlotte, but Ben Simmons didn't want to end up in Brooklyn and that happened anyway. I suspect the Cavs push hard for Garland to come back under a new coach and at least give it until the deadline to see how it goes. If Klutch (or Garland) refuse, I can't see Garland's preferred destination mattering much to the Cavs.
Sure. But if Cleveland has no interest in dealing Garland, and the only reason it’s even being discussed is because of the possibility that Klutch may push for it, wouldn’t Klutch also push for him out of Charlotte immediately?
I can see Garland’s preferred destination mattering in that receiving teams will likely play less if there’s a solid possibility that he would refuse to play there. Sure, he’s under contract, but we’ve seen that doesn’t matter with Klutch.
"Klutch Sports has been reportedly “hiding him,” according to one connected draft insider".
Klutch is in the business of making money. They know if their clients plays with Wemby it will elevate their stock. No offense to Spurs fans but I see Garland potentially to the Spurs more of a Klutch idea, than Garland's.
In what I've been hearing about Klutch along with this news. I doubt they push Garland to Charlotte over Spurs & Wemby, if there's remote interest on the Spurs end.

The Garland to SA didn't originate with Klutch. It originated with Pop being very complimentary of Garland during Olympic workouts a couple years back.

Ultimately doesn't matter what Klutch wants, if Spurs are not interested. My post was not about the origin of interest.
It was recently on twitter that Klutch was hiding Dillingham because they want him to land with the Spurs. What I've been told about Klutch, is they'll want their players like Garland to play with Wemby to get out from Mitchells shadow & to raise his individual stock. So if the Spurs are interested, they will most likely push for it.
Spurs fans will tell you when they were rebuilding & didn't have Wemby. Klutch forced out Murray & now that they have Wemby, Murray is being linked back to the Spurs in rumors, lol.

Garland has significantly more value than Bridges. I don't believe Miles has much interest league wide
