Re: Free Agency
What’s a good statistical metric for defense? I’ve heard otherwise on Toppin at least.
I’ll have to look up the 3pt% and volume on those guys

Re: Free Agency
Yes Toppin is bad, the rest are all well above average defenders.

Re: Free Agency
I’d be happy to get Toppin if the price is right.

Re: Free Agency
He would fit well in Orlando or Brooklyn IMO

Re: Free Agency
Russell coming off scoring an efficient 20 PPG season he's going to most likely be moved in a sign-and-trade where LA lands a bigger fish IMO but I'd still have interest in him at the right price... lets be honest here we're desperate for scoring and shooting.
That said, he's not the type of piece that comes in and helps reset the culture which may be even more important what shooting.

Oh boy if we get Deangelo I will not have any excitement for this team/franchise direction… I guess there’s not much now either, damn. I am excited for ausar and Cade tho

But it isn’t a real rumor. This was part of a bleacher report story. We obviously could sign him if we wanted him, and he would help us score, but just hope this isn’t Plan A

Scammy sites that make you click through 10 pages for content usually means content not worth those clicks.

If we could get their #1, Murray and Capela for Duren+Ivey+#5 I'd be all over that hahaha. Probably would still do it if they kept #1 to be honest

Does Jerami Grant have positive value at this stage?

He essentially makes $30, $32, $34, $36 over the next four years. I guess his value to Detroit would depend on what else TL thought he could do with that $30 million in cap space. I previously posted that I was trade back from #5 to #7 and absorb Grant but even that feels like a bit of an overpay if we really like someone that is there at 5 but might not be there at #7. No chance I'd trade back from #5 to #14 just for getting to take on Grant.
