Rundown:
D.Disu - I don't think he's a true NBA prospect. Too slow for a 4, too small for a 5, not skilled enough offensively and/or defensively to compensate.
S.Jones - I'm not too familiar with him to be honest. Looking at the stats he's a 6-7 forward that averaged 40% from 3 (that's good) but is a career 70% FT shooter, with 3 seasons in the 60s (not good). Like Disu I'd say he's not a serious prospect.
B.Markovic - A raw, lanky Euro with good feel but years away. Similar to the above, not sure I see anything there with him.
A.Reeves - 3pt sniper and not much else. He can attack a bit when he's run off the 3pt line but poor physical tools hurt him on both ends. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a late 2nd rounder who bounces around various 2 ways and G League contracts before disappearing to play overseas.
C.Spencer - Slightly undersized 2 guard but a similar sniper to Reeves. I like Spencer a little more because I think he can do a little more, particularly in terms of passing, and he competes harder on defence. Ultimately don't think he sticks in the league though.
P.Hall - Bit of a tweener big but I get some early career Naz Reid vibes from him. He's a solid prospect that I could see having a long career, especially if his shot pans out, but he's got some concerns defensively which likely pushes him to the mid-2nd at best.
T.Alexander - 6-4 combo guard with a long wingspan. Was an elite shooter last season in a more catch and shoot role so I'd buy those %s more than this previous season, where he was more on-ball and an off the bounce shooter. Unfortunately not a true PG and lacks a degree of athleticism, causing him issues with getting any sort of separation. He feels a bit like a poor man's NAW, with maybe better (or more consistent) 3pt shooting but worse defence.
I.Almansa - Energy big from the horrific G League Ignite team. Inhales rebounds, gives great effort defensively and is a fairly smart player particularly in the short roll. He has some issues defensively where he's not quite quick enough to be in a switch heavy or aggressive scheme but isn't tall and/or long enough to be effective in drop. Imagine a taller Vando with better passing but worse switchability.
M.Faye - Another guy I'm not familiar with. Sounds like a fairly standard athletic energy big; good height and wingspan, energy defensively, can't hit FTs or do much outside of rim finishing offensively. Based on what I've read he's fairly mobile defensively so might be interesting in our system.
J.Shead - My guy in this draft. Undersized PG by modern standards but a relentless defender who sets the tone and a true floor general (17th in entire NCAA in AST:TO ratio, from memory the best ranking of the true PGs in this draft). I absolutely love him and think he fits the culture we're trying to establish far too well to pass him up at 37.
T.Smith - Not a serious prospect. 6th year senior that's a typical college post player.
A.Watson - Versatile forward that does a bit of everything (except shoot). Summer league invite kind of guy.
