Rui and Reeves are their only contracts big enough for any significant trade, assuming DLo isn't picking up his option. They're not going to let go of Rui's contract for Brue Brown and Chris Boucher. They need it to go big game hunting with their picks.

I'm thinking Djurusic or Mogbo is the 31st pick.

The 19 is a hard call unless I imagine players to drop. Kyshawn George gives me Banton vibes. By contrast Bobbi Klintman is a polished looking wing with far superior agility. Holmes I like. I could live with Ware.

Maybe we'll shock and pick Klintman 19 and Djurusic 31.
Or, Ware 19 and Mogbo 31
Or, Holmes 19 and Jaylon Tyson 31.

Personally, I wouldn't want Rui Reeves (I think they get a huge value boost while playing LA, and with Lebron and AD.), or Vincent.
I think Holmes and Collier will go back to back in the 20s.

I think we're looking for a bigger fish with the expirings.

He’s nothing like Banton. They just look similar lol.

Some team has made it known they will take Edey ahead of our pick, thus the interest in moving up into the lottery. So Portland, Miami and LAL have to be leapfrogged. Not much different than when they wanted Cason Wallace and OKC jumped up and took him, but were happy to take Gradey Dick. Our draft history suggests they don't like to make bold moves at the draft and just move onto the next option.

Didn’t know we wanted Cason. Thought Gradey was our guy through and through. Was this common knowledge and I just missed it?

It's my understanding that we had a deal lined up to jump up to 11 via the Magic but that one fell through once OKC traded up to 10 to select him and thus we just went BPA with Dick.

I feel like Y.Missi is going to be one of the steals of the draft.

-Advanced physical tools
-Young
-Insane motor + lateral quickness
- Great length + fast+ agile for a C
- Twitchy + super athletic
- Started playing late
-projectable/ hard working
-underrated due to rawness
- Elite /versatile defender

Right now is mainly a relentless rim runner but 2-3 yrs could be the perfect modern 5

Prime - even more versatile/skilled version of Bam mixed with Siakam.

I mentioned this earlier with edey. What a waste it will be if a team drafts him top 20 and they put him in a box. Guy needs to continue to get better and allow him to develop a shot.

Thanks for the info! Cason would’ve been nice, too, but very possible that Gradey becomes the more potent offensive player. Cason should be really solid though. Hard to say who’ll be the best player long term.

I don’t know if that sold me, haha. He’s basically bigger JV in a lot of ways. So, a tad more dominant JV wouldn’t be a bad pick at 19, but wouldn’t want to give up too many future assets to move up to get it.

I feel like one of the only posters here who doesn’t want Edey.

this is why he needs to end up in Miami with Spo

He's one of the safer picksk this draft and considering we had Koloko ranked higher in a stronger draft it seems pretty obvious we will take him. We also have some uncertainty regarding Poeltl's future here because he's in his prime and we aren't in a contention window.

I would take him 19th and put him in the GLeague and bench until a mid season Poeltl trade. If we are competitive this year due to insane growth from Barnes, Barrett, and other young assets he would still have a value in a consolidation trade.

For the 31st pick I would pick Kolek, in the same way he has a projectable high floor and he could immediatley fill the hole in the back up PG position. I would prefer opting for a better off ball player but the 2nd round this year looks pretty bad, in terms of high potential prospects.

I was on pretty quiet about Quinn Ellis mentioning him a few times here but I was having burned by other like CMB and Toppin who pulled out of the draft. But finally one of my guys is staying in.

Quinn is a British guard who reminds me a lot of Derrick White given the size, defense and scoring. Plays on Trento in Italy and he has been working out in the US for a couple weeks. If they decide to go with a PG at 31 he could be at the top of the list. True sleeper who could be a perfect fit. From Trento to Toronto.

Edey's best fit according to analytics is in Miami as he patches up a ton of their weaknesses.

As for Clingan the amount of teams rumored to want him says a lot about the market for competent centers. It might be the right time to trade Poeltl so we can properly tank OR wait until the deadline as there could be some desperate teams in the playoff hunt but then it would destroy the tank.

Smart move is to trade Poeltl now while there is more potential demand with teams missing a starting C. They can't just wait for a team to make an offer, go out and sell them on how weak this draft is. Otherwise, could be stuck with him for quite a while

They are fools. If any team should be tanking, it is the Bulls. They need to strip that team down.

Clingan is doing nothing for them.
