These are becoming increasingly rare because of the transfer portal. But a couple of candidates:

A shooter to consider in the second round is Antonio Reeves of Kentucky. He shot 44.7% from 3s and over 51% overall. Shot over 86% from line. Didn't really excel in other categories, but his turnovers were low. Devin Booker also played for Kentucky and really only flashed skills as a high percentage shooter. Kentucky guards usually do well in NBA, so he's someone to consider at 37 and he's a five year guy, so he could probably contribute as a bench scorer in year 1. Also has a decent wingspan.

At this point I don’t expect Scheiermann to last past Miami.

Unfortunately, I agree.

Kyshawn George would be a dream for me. Might take a year or 2, but he's got a ton of talent and could be a steal.

Mogbo looks intriguing, but his glaring hole is that he has no outside shot. He'd have to have Ben Simmons (pre-injuries) upside to want him or show the potential to develop an outside shot. He's definitely a project, but so is Clark. Not sure he's a good fit here with Rudy, but his physical tools, defensive potential, rebounding, finishing ability make him at least somewhat interesting. I wouldn't even consider him for 27, but maybe in the mix for consideration at 37.

I'd be surprised if he went before 20.

I know older guys are the rage now but taking him in the lottery is a huge reach.

Anyone else be surprised if MN picks at 27?

Yeah, Scheiermann looks promising. He can play basketball.

Was it a huge reach when Portland drafted 23-year old Damian Lillard at No. 6?

I've seen Nunez going to us in a couple mocks so far. Not sure why would draft him with the first when it looks like he'll be there in the second.

Over the small span of film I've seen he looks capable. His passing seems to be pretty good (but there's always the inevitable Rubio comparison) and his shot seems smooth enough but he's shooting only 32% from 3; more worrying is a PG that shoots FT's at about 60% - yikes.

Defintely not sure why you'd draft him if Tyler Kolek is there (which a couple of mocks have done), but maybe the Wolves have another one of their weird international fixations, which might work out (Rubio, Pek) or not (Shved, Prestes, Norel, that draft-and-stash guy we traded a couple of seasons ago whose name I can't remember right now).

Plus, don't we already have a foreign guard waiting to come in (Spagnolo)?

How many international players have the Spurs drafted over the same time period?

Which time period is that? I'm guessing the answer is "lots."

Anybody know anything about Spagnolo? Is he coming or is under contract in Europe?

Yes, I expect some moves. Connelly loves to make moves on draft nights when he has picks at his disposal

What about Keshad Johnson as big wing à la stretch four at #37?

6'7", 225lbs, 6'10"wingspan, tied for the highest max vertical at 42 inches, and he measured two of the biggest hands at the combine

So you think Baylor Sheiermann is as good as Damian Lillard?

He had foot surgery in April. Not sure how long he'll be out of commission.

I have trouble seeing him as an NBA player. He can't shoot, is a poor defender and while a decent passer - is very careless with the ball.

He's one of my favorites. I think he could step in as a rookie and help defend the guys who are too strong for McDaniels. And if his scoring/shooting bump from this year is real, he could be an absolute steal and a low usage 2-way player.
