Throwback Thread:
This is still one of the weirdest personnel decisions of the past 20 years.
Hawks traded a first round pick for an under performing, injured young player.
Watched him slowly improve, thrive in Atlanta...and then let him walk away in Free Agency.
BudenholZer as PBO...
Tim Hardaway Jr.

Loved Bud as coach. As POBO he was a catastrophic train wreck. Letting Horf and Sap walk in back to back years was just unbelievable to watch...and then he bailed. Looked like sabotage to me

I absolutely hated the trade at the time and it still annoys me til this day. We had a big hole at the SF position since the joe johnson trade years back and we throw away our pick for statistically one of the worst defensive SGs in the league

Absolute trash asset management.

I was right there with you, bud.
Looking back through this thread, it's embarrassing how many fans made excuses for this very questionable personnel move.

THJ had a very bad year for Dallas. They'll look to move him and I won't be surprised if they contact Atlanta. Trae shoots bad enough so we don't need THJ's 39%-40% field goal percentage anchoring us down.
