I really don't see how small skinny guys like Dillingham (or That Boy Bay) this can be successful in the league. Guys like Lowry, Fred and Brunson have the girth to hold their ground down low. Although even Fred doesn't use his thickness as well as the other two.

It could be but teams that had him in for workouts already know. Utah won't take him in the lottery though...at least not where they are drafting. He'd late lottery to late first round... ~ 13-25ish range.

Happy for Edey, but what is Utah going to do with Kessler and Edey? They also have Lauri who needs to be extended. I doubt this workout means anything. I do think Memphis is the earliest team to have interest in Edey. My ideal trade situation would be OKC and Memphis. OKC drafts Cody Williams at 9, while Memphis drafts Edey at 12 and in the deal OKC moves off Giddey and Dieng for Brandon Clarke saving some money and getting a quality back-up to Ja.

Keep coming back to this guy. He has an NBA body already and he creates turnovers, rebounds, passes and gets to the line (plus hits FTs) at a high level. Despite being a 4 year college player, he's not an old prospect. If the 3pt shot improves and it should because the form looks good and he's a great FT shooter, he's interesting all-around player to have off the bench.

I think you can slot Dillon Jones in this lineup too (Mogbo is a better fit though since he can cover so much ground on defense), and I think it could even be at the 4, he's got a 6'11'' wingspan.

I wonder if a there's a fit with Barnes, Mobgo, and Edey in the frontcourt

Quickley/Morris/Beekman
Barrett/Dick/Agbaji
Barnes/McDaniels/Temple
Jones/Olynyk/Boucher
Edey/Poeltl/Williams

Edey might actually be a franchise cornerstone and keeping him fresh isn't a bad thing so having both of them and playing the matchup game is good. 20 mins a night for Walker and 28 for Edey works and take it from there.

There are a lot of possibilities for Edey prior to the Raps pick.

He could go as early as 9/10 to MEM/UTA but Chi could also take him as an eventual Vuc replacement at 11 and he could go to OKC/MIA/PHI/LAL who could all use the frontcourt depth. A guy who can step in and play 15-20 mins right away for teams trying to win is pretty appealing in the mid 1st.

Very good chance Scheierman outplays his draft slot. He's a lot more than your average shooting specialist which is what most people perceive him to be. I think he can be one of the better 4th/5th guys in your starting lineup in the NBA, like a lower volume Tyler Herro with better rebounding and scoring efficiency. His ability to ball gives him a solid chance at gelling with a talented and fast paced NBA team lacking a well-rounded scoring option and outlet.

I don't see how Minny/Denver pass on him. I guess if someone else falls. I will be surprised if he's sitting there at 31.

I think Minny goes BPA PG. If Carrington drops. Tyler Kolek makes sense to the TWolves.

It can make team construction more difficult, but talent wins out. I dont think it's a stretch to compare Dillingham to Garland. The kid is dynamic as hell on the ball. If he's there at 19, you don't even think twice IMO (unless Collier is also available, in which case I'd be torn).

Can trade Walker Kessler to Boston for #30 and a future 1st pick.

#29 Nikola Djurisic (stash for 1 season)
#30 Baylor Scheierman
#32 KJ Simpson

PG George - Sexton - Simpson
SG Clarkson - Sexton
SF Henricks - Scheierman - Sensabaugh
PF Lauri - Collins - Lofton
C Edey - Collins/Yurtseven

He would need to be an elite scorer like Iverson to make it work tbh.

Edey will go in the lottery.
I would not be at all surprised if he went #1.
Are Sarr, Ridacher, Buzelis, Salaun really that good, or is everyone just following the crowd in projecting then at the top of the draft?

The latter part. Dwane Casey was on Raptors Tonight and he talked about how scouts and GM’s are scared to go against the consensus in fear of being wrong. So there are likely people out there who think Edey should go #1 but won’t speak up and say it.

I like Rob but he's one of the worst defenders in this draft.

I think the advantage of the Spurs is with Wemby being the impossible to guard five man. He could use a back-up C, but they tried playing Zach Collins with him, and it didn't work. Edey occupying space in the low-block would be even worse. If the Spurs drafted him to share minutes with Wemby it is fine, but probably seems like not a huge need for them as much a lead guard or a shooting wing.

They should go Clingan at #4... Edey at #8... and just always have at least two guys on the floor that are taller than 7'3. You either hit from outside or your go home with the L because the paint is off limits to you tonight!

The comedy of what they could line the lanes with during an important end-of-game FT attempt that they simply must rebound.

Out of all the teams, SA is the best fit for him which is why Klutch is pushing him there.

Wemby will clean up mistakes on defense + he has the speed and handle to get into the lane to throw lobs
