sounds like someone from the organization might have asked him to take it down TBH

I really like his potential but it is all about how he performs in a workout because his conference stunk and he rarely played good teams. My hope comes from the combine where he showed well amongst the real peers in his class.
I think the shooting translates and he was one of the better at self-creation in this class. He had 47 FTR, 28 AST% and 31 Usage so he took care of the ball and got to the basket. People will doubt his shot because it was low volume on threes. Given his size and ability, it is not impossible for him to be like a Andrew Nembhard type but it is a stretch.
Another player I really like at 31. He just seems to play the right way. I don’t think he’ll hurt you in the NBA. I’d say on the low end he’s Garrett Temple and on the high end he’s Derrick White. Not bad for the 2nd round imo

He doesn't even in playmaking either. A less athletic John Wall type is a guy that could be out of the league in a few years IMO. Leif Thulin and Richard Stayman think he's got bust written all over him as well.

Apparently teams outside and at the back end of the lottery are valuing a lottery pick this year as the 7th or 8th man on a roster, and feel there is little difference in terms of value in the front and back end.
If you're a team with a lottery pick and all you're getting offered is a bench player, you probably just make the pick, as for most of these teams - outside of a Houston or a Memphis - a bench player does nothing for their timeline.

Maybe not for a Roster player for a pick straight
But for a trade to move up or down a couple spots it should make stuff easier IMO

I'm not sure I'm ready to say he'll be better than Knecht BUT I like him A LOT that it wouldn't surprise me either.
Said it already (and I'm sure you obv feel the same) but I'd welcome taking him with the 18th. I don't think he'll be a star but he seems like a guaranteed solid rotation piece a la Podz, Jacquez (again guys I know you liked too lol). But out of every wing in our range (TDS, Tyson, Furphy)...I think BS (lol) would be the most seamless fit offensively AND possibly the most upside of the bunch. I really, really like the way he reads the bball court. Idk much about his defence but IQ, Dick & Bay would be a fantastic fit offensively.

I don’t think he’s trolling. That kid can ball. Knecht is a good prospect too, but I prefer the guy who can do more than just score.
