The point of workouts is to evaluate where they’re at and what their potential may be. Different people and scouts have different opinions, even when given the same information.

Edey’s lone 3 point shot was a bank shot, which was a bit hyped up at the time, but I don’t put much value into it. Some people think 48/100 is great, I don’t. I’m not a big fan of his shooting form either, which some people do like.

Based on my own opinions, I made an educated guess on where he’s currently at.

You don’t seem to like my opinion, which has led you to making numerous logical fallacies and false assumptions. Because my opinion is against the norm of all the expert scouts, you deem my post meaningless and berate me for it.

That just about sums up our exchange.

Your opinion was based off a single workout and made zero sense when considering the context of his season and the many scouts who have said his shot has looked good and confident. You are now pivoting to a strawman argument because you can't really back paddel into anything else.

I’m sorry you’re so caught up in propaganda by scouts, but I make my own evaluations and my opinion can change based off of new information.

What do you mean by back peddle? Seems like projection.

You said I didn’t watch any Purdue games and then you said my opinion was based off of a single work out and then you said my analysis was that “he had a shot or no shot”.

You either know me really well and can read my mind and make statements for me, or those were logical fallacies and strawman arguments. Yes or no.

You're just lost and confused since you original statement had no understanding of Edey and jumped the gun assuming he had no shot. Your so called "educated guess" was based off a single workout (which you admitted), and proclaiming its unusable because of it. Now since you misfired you are going into your strawman argument because you never watched Edey or Purdue and now doubling down thinking you have a scout's eye when you didn't understand the context in the first place. Lol.

Carrington is also very cold too & probably should be selected at 19. That solidifies 48 minutes of PG play & he's big enough to play besides Quickly too.

He doesn't put any pressure on the paint. This will likely lead to him being a mid range volume scorer which isn't optimal. Although Ware has issues and looks stiff I would probably go with him or Missi. We have an obvious hole at the back C spot and could use a stretch big, if its Missi it would give us 48 minutes of good rim protection with Poeltl.

I am conflicted on whether we need a PG. On one hand Barnes needs reps there but his ball security is poor when he faces any pressure. A player like Kolek would help us run sets which would be good for Dick but they combo of those two would be a terrible defense.

3 pt shooting at the combine doesn’t translate to in game shooting. Especially for a slow footed big. You are not going to be sitting open like in practice. Not saying he can’t develop the shot but it’s not his calling guard. The bigger question is on defence at the key. If his Center he is defending or the PF he switches on will he be beaten off the dribble

I'd rather just trade for Micic using Boucher's contact. If Micic is injured we'd have JFL. We need some bodies due to three departures: Paskal, OG, Precious. Hello players like Tyson, Holmes, Mogbo, Klintman. Sounds like the Boxing hall of fame. We aren't going to find this on the market. Then if opportunity knocks do we grab JaKobe Walter or Collier if they drop or just stick to the plan? Walter might replace Gary assuming Gary is gone which I think is the case. Collier is just too intriguing a bulldog to pass on. Like drafting a highschooler with untapped (and unknown) potential.
