This year’s playoffs was easily the worst since the bubble. So many top players missing time for their respective teams and some pretty bad officiating just made it awful to watch.

Congrats on beating an 8 seed, a 6 seed, a 5 seed and a 4 seed with two of their best players injured. Truly a team for the ages.

The Bubble playoffs were AWESOME compared to this year. Silver has a perception problem now. All over the internet, the kids are stating the facts: this was the most boring Finals in a long, long time. Not one Finals game has a signature moment. Most of the games felt like a 1v8 first round series.

Too many 3s, every game is boom/bust and way less competitive. Not just a playoff problem.

Clippers don't have a chip, so it's proven. Can't compare us. Just stop. I think the ignore feature is going to be used here soon. You're just spewing nonsense Bucks hate for some odd reason.

Tatum is first player in finals to lead in pts, rebounds, and assists and not win award.

This might have been the signature moment:

Silver lining. Tatum being so hilariously garbage throughout their whole run will at least spare us the "he's a Top-5 player" nonsense. Luka, and to a lesser extent Jokic not draping themselves in glory these playoffs means the "best in the world" crown is still wide open for Giannis to go and reclaim with an MVP type season and deep playoff run next year. Perfect narrative set up right now for when we gentleman's sweep the Celtics next playoffs with Giannis vanquishing the "nEw SUpeRTeAm".

If we want parity then, unfortunately, you're going to get series like this one and when Denver whooped Miami.

I hate the Celtics but I do believe they were the best team in the league by a pretty wide margin.
Denver was prob close. T Wolves.. maybe.

Just stay healthy Giannis.

This run has shown that while Jokic and Luka are very good, their flaws on the defensive end were ultimately a large reason for sinking their ship.

Kinda crazy to think how differently the 2019 and 2020 Bucks teams would be viewed had they been gifted this slate of playoff opponents. "Eric Bledsoe is a winner and a championship player" would be a hilarious sentence to non-ironically type out, but that just goes to show you how dumb some of these confirmation bias narratives get.

With the increased level of parity in the league and the fact that the last 5 champs (Raptors, Lakers, Bucks, Warriors, Nuggets) have not been back to the Finals or gotten past the second round the year after they won the Finals, I’m certainly not expecting a Celtics dynasty to form after this lackluster playoffs.

With the exception of Porzingis (who is always an injury risk), they were healthy throughout their whole run and the rest of the East was not. Sometimes it is that simple.

The Celtics are a very good team, but recent history says that they’re not going to be juggernauts. Which is why this next Bucks season is huge. Hopefully we can get back to the promised land with this core and stay healthy for the first time since ‘21.

**** Boston

BUT

Congrats to Jrue, I miss the guy

Game 4 was his first win against Boston since leaving. He is like 1/10 vs the Celtics against them since bolted Boston.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
