Gotta love these analysts nearly universally calling Mavs in 5-6 now pivoting and hailing Boston as some historical juggernaut poised for a dynastic run.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Still laughing at how the ESPN experts panel picked had 9 people pick Mavericks and only 8 pick Boston, none in less than 6 games.

Celtics literally proved every expert wrong.

I still can't see any team in the East beating them in 24-25.

Remember what Jayson Tatum looked like after he was named to his first all-star team? Once that weight was lifted, he went crazy. Well, another weight has been lifted, and this one happened to be a boulder. Tatum and Brown are going to go crazy next season. Assuming the team stays healthy, they’ll have a great chance of repeating.

Joe Mazzulla deserves a great deal of credit for getting this team to where they're at. Boston has figured things out. From the front office, to the Coaching, and to the roster. Well done!

Joe Mazzulla as Coach
121-43 (.738%)

Congratulations

You just never know with unforeseen circumstances like injuries and what not, but I'll say this: Typically, NBA players' primes are between ages 27-30. Your two best players, Brown and Tatum, are 27 and 26 respectively. There's a good chance their best ball is still ahead of them, which is promising.

Obviously re-signing Derrick White and Al Horford should be priority #1, and what happens with them will determine a lot, but y'all have Jrue locked up for another 3 seasons and Porzingis for another year. That's your core right there. If y'all can stay healthy, I think you guys have as good a chance as any to win it again next year.

We'll see what Denver does this offseason and if they're able to re-tool their roster and add some depth, but I like Boston's chances again next year if they can stay healthy. Run it back baby.

It's more that they proved that those people aren't experts.

I hope we didn’t **** our next couple of years throwing KP out there for 15 minutes. I’m not sure he gave us way more than Tillman would have, but I guess he does a lot more for our spacing even when he’s hobbled.

I love that we got this one against such a crybaby in Luka, our most recent nemesis in Kyrie, and a nemesis of the past in the wife-beater.

Has Cave called this a fake championship or Jaylen a fake finals MVP yet?

Cave's still grieving being so wrong.

Nope. He's explaining how he basically was right, but how we finally had some much overdue injury luck that he's very pleased about.

(At least, that's accurate to within a very brief summary.)

I was told on this board by some posters that this team wouldn't go anywhere after trading Marcus because you can't win without heart and soul. I'm glad the narrative of Smart being close to the level of Brown is now dead. I think...

He was so upset that, if his stretched rubbery face would have let him, he would have been pouting.

You ever notice how shiny he looks? Or the fact that the older he gets the more he looks like the principal out of The Breakfast Club?

Love y'all, now lets get a stud in the draft.

2nd round pick?

Cs unlikely to use their 1st rnd pick.

Honestly we’ve had great luck in the top of the draft but one of these late rounders will eventually pop and be a star.

Smart held them back. Any shot Smart took that went to the Jays, White and KP was a automatic win in my book.
