Well that was his value on an expiring contract. That's not a great gauge of his open market value.

Springer, Walsh, Queta, will have bigger roles. Celtics will keep the 30th pick.

Mykailiuk is surely gone; he gets no playing time. Brissett I think may take off, too.
Tillman though, is going to get more and more playing time. He fits as Horford's replacement, down the line.

I like Queta a lot and hope he gets a lot of minutes next year, but the Cs need a younger floor spacing big. I wonder if they are interested in Filipowski in the draft, if he slides, would they move up for him?
I think when Brad first got here, he played a role in drafting Kelly Olynyk because that’s the type of big Brad wants and Filipowski is this years Olynynk, and that seems the model of player they want to replace Al not a Tillman type who’s not a scorer.Parliament10 wrote:Celts17Pride wrote:I think Mykailiuk, Tillman (more money and more playing time from another team) and Brissett (see Tillman) will be gone.

This is why I like Da Silva a lot in this draft too. Though, he's going to require a trade up. Kyle too most likely, but maybe one will slip.

Same starters, duh : White, Holiday, JT, JB, KP
Bench : Al, Payton, Hauser
Reserves: Kornet, Tillman, Walsh, Springer
Back Bench: Queta, Davison, 1st round draft pick
No room for ring chaser free agents this year.

Run it back!
Absolutely boring off-season if Luke, Tillman, and Brissy return.
It gets interesting if the Cs lose 1, 2 or all 3 of them in FA.

I have a feeling that Brad will sign Hayward to the minimum hoping for a Big Al style resurrection from him. Especially if Brisett is gone. Luke is probably getting 7 or 8 mil a year, Boston, probably can't nor should they match that.

Would be a great move if Hayward weren’t completely washed up.
