Some really awful officiating in the Liberty-Mercury game.

I don't get switching Jones off Griner. Literally no one else on the team has a chance of guarding her. Also Fiebich was terrible tonight.

Sucks for the Liberty as they have the Mercury's first rounder too.

are teams allowed to continue to practice during the Olympic break? feels like its an unfair advantage for those teams who do not have players on team usa.

I fervently hope that I am wrong, but Brink's injury looked grim. A no-contact knee injury is rarely a quick fix.

I read that she left the arena last night under her own power but I haven't seen any credible updates.

Cam is beloved man, she's such a good natured and super talented kid, i hope she will be alright. Her and Rickea are gonna be incredible once they hit their stride.

Last night I realized that though I'm a Liberty fan, I'm rooting for all of these rookies to succeed and be healthy, they all mean a lot to the league and sport overall. My heart sunk seeing her collapse like that

Cam really is, feels like future class president or prom queen kinda popular. Or in adult terms, a top leader in the players association if she were ever up for it. Perhaps one of the least controversial things in the league this year.

I’m the same with this class, but realized it pretty early. Kinda entering the league at the same time in terms of them joining and me paying much more attention.

I’m not religious about watching every game, but I now check the boxscores daily, and always reading threads and opinions here. Really the same way I follow the men’s game since my favorite team has fallen into purgatory.

Anyway, crossing fingers it’s just something that needs a few weeks rest and rehab.

She's one of my Top 5 favorites in the league. The only good thing about it that Li Yueru will be playing a lot more now. Last night she hit 2 very long 2s along with a corner 3. She's fun to watch.

Perhaps the silver lining will be Bueckers???

Hamby, Cam, Rickea and Paige is a team for the future.

Guess that’s one nice thing about the shorter W season. A player gets a significant injury like this, more time to recover and hopefully be good to go next season from the start.

It could be possible, I'm not sure how the math works but they take the aggregate of this season and the previous season I think? Right now they're almost tied with the Mystics and Wings but I don't think LA is as bad as those two teams especially with Arike going down with an Achilles issue.

Paige with Dearica, Rickea, a healthy Year 2 Cam....man that would be fun to watch.

Where ever Paige goes is instantly my 2nd team anyway :lol:

The Sparks are playing my Libs tomorrow so I will be keeping my eye on Li. Yall got me very intrigued and she is an absolute unit. Jonquel will be prepared to hand out punishment though I hope she's ready
