Only big I ever had any true interest in. Not Edey not Ware. This is my guy if we go with a big.

Da Silva and Ware also confirmed green room invites.

McCain’s ability to play off ball and hit threes would seem to fit well with Maxey and Embiid.

What’s the deal with Collier only working out for the Heat so far? And whats the deal with this Jaylon Tyson fella? He looks really good but is pretty low on most draft boards, what his weakness?

I asked MWP the same re Tyson earlier. It seems he perhaps isn’t the most explosive athlete, which can inhibit finishing at the rim and ability to slide his feet defensively. But he seems OK from the vision? Could be that he’s a bit older too, 21.

Tyson is going through a late surge very much like Jaime last year. Went from second round pick to getting selected by us. Tyson has been getting mocked more frequently now in the 20’s. He’s got Heat player written all over him.

I do find it interesting that Collier’s only known workout has been with the Heat. Like why only post the Heat? Most teams within the vicinity of picking around us don’t seem to be hiding much. Was almost certain he would have had a workout with the Lakers who have had numerous workouts. Maybe he really is the Heat’s guy. Remember we scout these LA guys throughly. Simon has been seen watching USC games.

He only wants to play for the Heat......

Watch Cronin swoop in and nab him.

I think Cronin is too busy looking for pure 3 point shooters to be looking at Collier. Blazers are the most open book when it comes to working out prospects. Not one peep of Collier to anyone but the Heat.

He does a lot of things well and takes on the challenge of converting in tight situations. I like watching him play. He's def got craft. I agree that if his shooting continues to become more of a strength, it can be what supercharges his entire game. If he becomes a higher volume 3 pt shooter while still converting at an efficient rate, then suddenly everything else in his game has a little more opening to shine offensively.

I'm gonna check out some more of his Soph tape/game to learn more

The only true leaks for the Heat right now is that Devin Carter is a no brainer and that we came away impressed by Jaylon Tyson after his workout.

Thats one of the things I wanted to see more of in his tape--being big and explosive around the rim

No Jaylon Tyson yet. Could be like Jaime last year and be a last second invite.

Return to Miami Heat
