It is hard to fathom anyone innocent ever agreeing to release a statement like that.

At any rate. Kobe is nowhere near Lebron as a basketball player. The fact that LeBron appears to also be a better human being is ancillary.

Except that he didn't? What does make sense is that instead of letting a case drag out forever after the accuser refuse to testify is that he wanted to be removed from that situation so he settled out of court so he could get on with his life.

You sound like an angry and quite confused person.

You settle with money. No entirely innocent person settles with a statement like that, and it speaks volumes that his accuser wouldn't agree to a settlement without it. Money wasn't enough.
