Put CC in the NBA and see how many Rebounds she get....

You starting to add to much sauce and sound like these dudes gassing her skills up....

So it's cool to gas Reese up for her stats, 12 pts & 9 rebs, in the W; but Clark's stats don't count because she couldn't get them in the NBA?
Reese would average 0 points and 0 rebounds in the NBA dude

How much of a weirdo do you have to be to bring Reese in this. She was not even mentioned.

You must go to sleep at night thinking about her.

You mad she stopped your girl from getting a chip?

The fact you brought Reese into this again shows how much you are obsessed with her. You speak as if someone said Reese can out rebound an nba player.

You seem mad that people have something positive to say about Reese

You spew nothing but negativity at Reese all over this forum but you draw the line cause someone said CC doesn’t have the same challenges at her height that an NBA Player of her same height does? That’s what you want to cry about?

How developed are you?

Go sit down color in your coloring book and drink your sippy cup.

Naw I'm a big Reese fan. I haven't said anything bad about her.
It was you that gassed up Reese for her stats and then said Clark's stats don't count cuz she wouldn't get them in the NBA
Now you're just projecting your own hypocrisy :noway:

Angel Reese is a good young player.

Caitlin Clark is a good young player.

Both are bringing new fans to the game, both are becoming excellent role models for an entire new generation of young fans coming of age during this historic time in the sport.

I really wish we can just appreciate and love these ladies and stop pitting them against each other. It's not even serious like that. There are players in the W with legit beef against each other and CC/Angel don't even come close to that. It's a manufactured rivalry and Reese has admitted as much but she's willing to play the villain if it helps the sport grow.

But I guess it's worth it in the long run since it has us all here talking though. I'll take it, but in the long run I hope this stuff cools out.

Where did I say her stats they don’t count in the nba?

Show me the exact words where I said that.

I said put her in the NBA and see how many rebounds she get….this would suggest I’m talking about ABILITY and NOT stats.

Stats in the WNBA would not translate to NBA production of the same rate. If you can’t understand that…. I don’t know what to tell you. The comparison was made that she is a better rebounder than Young, and stats in her league can’t prove that at all. Not with such a huge disparity in height, Athletic ability and strength in both leagues. The only way to prove she is a better rebounder than him would be for Young to play in the WNBA or she plays in the NBA and she out rebounds him. It’s simple logic.

Clark today set the rookie WNBA record for the most 15/5/5 games. In her 16th game of the season. :D

Based on your childish insults I'm guessing that you're either an actual child, or spend significant amounts of your time on the worst parts of Twitter and other social media, or both.
And it's obvious I've struck a nerve by pointing out your double standards.
So I'm gonna sit this one out now. Have a good one.

No more than I struck a nerve with you crying about what I said and bringing in a player that had nothing to do with it.

Let me guess you think you responded to my initial statement in a mature way. Yeah ok buddy.

The only double standard here is the double dose of weirdness you brought to the table.

Your argument with me from the beginning was childish so in turn you get treated like one.

If you notice the other two people who responded it didn’t go down this way. Because my statement didn’t hurt they feelings like it did yours. You was so bothered you brought Reese into it when she was never involved in it, and then try to claim a double standard was being done here when she was never mentioned in the first place to even be a double standard.

You just wanted to take shots, but claim you a big “fan”

Make it make sense.

You fuccked around and found out plain and simple. Come correct or don’t come at all. I did not start this discourse you did.

Have a nice lunchable.

Show me the Gas. I bet you can’t. It’s time to show and prove.

Gassing Reese numbers up would be to say she is a better rebounder than Clint Capela or better than her males counterparts which I have never done ever.

Your only point is to say im trigger but can’t provide the evidence of the gas. Im triggered cause deep down you know you have no point so it’s all you can say.

Like I said…. I simply think you mad cause I speak of Reese in positive light.

Don’t respond to me unless you can show me where I was “gassing” up Reese rebounding.

2024 WNBA Seaaon Discussion thread, page 7, Terrence Clark on Reese:
"Showing Reese some love to (sic)...She also leads the league in offensive rebounding as a rookie. At this point she the female Rodman on them boards."

Terrence Clark in this thread when someone says Clark is a better rebounder than Trae for their respective position:
"How So. By Stats?

Trae Young is playing against people much taller and stronger than CC.

CC dont have to navigate the what young has to Navigate. The avg PG Height is what centers are in WNBA basically.

Bruh you cant be serious.

Saying she is a female Rodman is not gassing her up.

It’s saying she is a good rebounder as a wnba player. I also said her game is ugly like Rodman as well but let’s not talk about that.

If I said she is better than Rodman at rebounding you would have a point.

This is embrassing if this is your argument. I said this weeks ago. So not only are you obsessed with Reese you must be obsessed with me for you to use that as “gas” from something I said weeks ago.

Calling her a female Rodman for her rebound prowess is not gassing her up.

It’s like saying CC is a female Steph for her shooting prowess is not gassing her up.

Angel is an elite rebounder in the WNBA.Not the NBA.

Again the statement was made that CC is better a rebounder than a NBA player which is gas, as the two stats can never correlate.

Like I said ….you had nothing and you had to be triggered to bring up me praising angels Reese rebounding for a female player but you mad I did not co-sign CC being a better rebounder than a Male PG who has much more greater challegenes to get a rebound than a PG in the wnba would.

Like I said ….you had nothing and you had to be triggered to bring up me praising angels Reese rebounding for a female player but you mad I did not co-sign CC being a better rebounder than a Male PG who has much more greater challegenes to get a rebound than a PG in the wnba would.

"Gas up: To inflate somebody's ego via compliments, praise, or actions."
I guess you weren't complimenting or praising her rebounding by calling her the Dennis Rodman of the W, my bad

It is your bad cause don’t know what an analogy is… so let me help you.

a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

a comparison of two otherwise unlike things based on resemblance of a particular aspect

Any sensible person but you understood the analogy I was making. That must have had you tight all these weeks. Now it make sense.

It’s good to know you watching me like you watch Reese.

I bet you have no problem when the world was saying CC was a female Steph but you mad cause I gave Reese props as leading the league in offensive boards was Rodman like with her funky looking game to go with it.

This is def a waste of time now I see how dumb your angle is cause I did not co-sign her being better than someone in the NBA at rebounding. You just want someone to argue with. Now we know why Reese was brought up in an unrelated convo over something I said on May 24th.

I was right ….you just mad I give Reese her love. You that big fan right?

You so much a big fan you missed the analogy lol

Make it make sense.

Let me know what else you holding on to.

Don’t use that I said Kate Martin as my favorite rookie against me. Please I don’t know what I would do.

I must have been gassing her up to when I praised her play.

Damn….im exposed.

My favorite rookie this year so far is Kate Martin considering where she got drafted at.

To make an imprint on such a loaded team as a rookie has to be crazy for wnba standards. She is a solid member of rotation and playing very well.

Again…she is getting mad burn on the Aces. That’s speaks volumes on how good she is.

Prob the best story out of the draft considering she was not expecting to get drafted like that in the first place.

Yeah, was never mad.
Still not mad.
Was pointing out how you got mad people were "gassing up" clark when pretty obvious you did the same for reese.
Im a fan of both. And Clark is a better rebounder than Trae "for her position," which is a starting pg in the WNBA.
Trae plays in the NBA. Which everyone knows.
But you decided to poinr that out for everyone anyway, and took issue with it.
I'm glad you gassed up Reese too though. I'm not the one hating. She's not Dennis Rodman but that girl puts in work on the boards!
Take it easy, man.

How So. By Stats?

Trae Young is playing against people much taller and stronger than CC.

CC dont have to navigate the what young has to Navigate. The avg PG Height is what centers are in WNBA basically.

Put CC in the NBA and see how many Rebounds she get....

You starting to add to much sauce and sound like these dudes gassing her skills up....

i mean realistically, no one in the WNBA can play in the NBA. its just finding a similar style of play from an NBA equivalent.

they're similar in that they're high usage, high turnovers, 3s from everywhere on the court and bad defense. trae young has more of a mid-range float game than caitlin clark. she's more at the rim or stepback/pull-up from 3. she does have him on the boards though, relatively speaking

You bring up a good point. I think CC's next evolution as a player will be to develop a consistent mid range game. All the great scorers should be knocking down pull up Js from 15 to 18 off the dribble separation. She's too reliant on the three ball imo

on second thought, lamelo ball is the best comparison right now.

they're both tall for the position, rebound and pass well, will pull up from anywhere and careless with the basketball.

It kind of sucks that CC's rookie year is low-key just a race war now.

Yep. We're where we were in the NBA 40 years ago, with the Bird/Magic debate being a disguised white/black battle. (As well as the Celtics vs. Lakers rivalry.)

Social media makes this 1000000000x worse and the bad faith actors who don't even watch CC play but wanna scream about stuff are just nauseating

Too bad for them though. I enjoyed yesterday's game thoroughly and I can't wait for the next Fever game, that team is fun to watch now that they started to figure it out

If Indiana's management knows whats good for them, they will.

Also, this is another instance where the whole "her teammates hate her!!!" is a load of made up garbage.

You can see how good they can be together. It's honestly exciting to see the improvement from May to June and we've got a ton more games to go
