The Mavs should find a way to acquire Paul George.
Kyrie
Luka
PG
Washington
Lively
That’s a pretty solid starting 5.

Didn’t even have to trade anything for him either apparently.

A Warriors fan begging Klay to leave? Talk about no loyalty to the man lol.
Im hoping you guys re-sign Klay so you're forced to trade Wiggins to the Raptors to cut budget lol.

Memories wrote:Magic would be an excellent fit for George. The only issue is that they would still have issues of not having a Point Guard at all, but this lineup is still very solid:
Jalen Suggs..............2yrs
Paul George.............12yrs
Franz Wagner............2yrs
Paolo Banchero .........1yr
Wendell Carter Jr ......5yrs
I think something does have to give with Suggs however, because I have a feeling with in that lineup, it would be too many cooks. They need a true facilitator, or someone to focus on spot up shooting at PG. Someone like DeAngelo Russell would work well here.
i can assure you it won't happen

Kings fans agree. Magic should definitely go after PG.

If PG were smart, he’d go to the Pacers.
For one, it’s his only chance at having any kind of lasting legacy as an NBA player(I suppose his podcast could help keep him in the spotlight a bit). Right now, which fan base loves PG?
Not the Pacers.
Not the Thunder.
Not the Clippers.
Sure, you can go to Orlando, have some good seasons there, but at this stage in his career he wouldn’t be there long enough to make THAT level impact to be forever loved by that fan base.
He can go to Philly, MAYBE win a ring, but that is Embiid’s team and that is what people will always talk about. Drexler was a great player for many years, but which fan base raves about him all the time these days? None. It would be the same for PG there.
Going to Indiana though? That is a fan base that once had a ton of love for you. Not only that, it’s genuinely a perfect situation for him as well. They need a long, wing defending, small forward. He would fit into that lineup like a glove. Not to mention, play with a team that has a ton of spacing, the best play making PG in the league, and still some potential left on the roster to get even better.
It’s genuinely kinda setup like it was for David West when he joined the Pacers. A young team on the rise, that needs some toughness and some veteran leadership. He could really be to this team, what David West was for him starting out.
If he does that, regardless of what happens, he goes down as a Pacer forever. People still talk about Reggie in Indiana; and while some fans still love PG, a lot don’t care for him anymore. He goes back though? All that love comes back to him that will keep his name talked about there for years to come, including a Jersey retirement.
But who knows, maybe he doesn’t care about any of that? *shrug*

Well, that's good as no team with max cap space would be a title contender signing him

Oh PG by far.
PG is still a good player.
Not sure Klay really is.

He can certainly do one of those two things
I was leaning towards a quarter of those two things but either way

It's an issue that the Pacers are short on cap space by about 100% of his salary.

PG would fit perfectly with alot of teams. Orlando, Sixers, Knicks, OKC, Mavs, literally almost every team he can slide into if they can make cap space. I really would like him on the Mavs tho, he could of really helped them in the finals .

Could work out a sign and trade. Not sure what or how, but things could be worked out if he wanted.
