It'll be nice to sink a ton of assets into a guy we could have had in 2016. Funny enough, he basically became what we wanted Ben to be, a point forward.

It's not my first choice, but he does fit well with Embiid and Maxey on offense and in terms of age. The rest of the team will have to be 3&D dogs who get rebounds because you're not really getting that kind of determination with Ingram.

Keep it simple.

After Paul George and LeBron James use us as leverage to secure new contracts with their preferred destinations, we do the following.

Retain:
- re-sign Kelly Oubre to the MLE
- re-sign Cal Lowry to the vet minimum
- re-sign Nico Batum to the vet minimum

Acquire:
- draft athletic teenagers taller than 6'4" at #16 and #41
- sign Miles Bridges to 3 years, $95m (Jerami Grant/Khris Middleton money)
- sign Delon Wright to the vet minimum
- sign Dario Saric to the vet minimum
- sign Andre Drummond to the vet minimum
- sign Kendall Brown to a 2-way contract

I'd rather trade for Ingram than sign Miles Bridges.

I would simultaneously weep and cheer for anything good Miles Bridges would do in a Sixers uni.

I'd imagine it would be

C - Embiid
F - Bridges
F - Oubre
G - Wright
G - Maxey

Nice to see sellers being so active. We might be able to get someone at a decent price.

Wouldn’t there still be 20+ million dollars left to spend in free agency in this scenario? Not saying we have to spend every penny, but another good role would go a long way.

KCP would be nice at the right price but I imagine he'd heavily eat into our ability to fill out a roster. This assuming we can actually turn the rest of the cap space into a more premier move first.

The season has been over for 2 days and my top target has shifted to Hezonja. I'm lying, he's my forever top target .

yeah can't go into the season needing Oubre to be one of our best 5 players again.

The absolute state of going back and forth in 100 page threads like "I'd rather sign bad option A than trade for bad option B".

It's so over.

I’ve definitely lowered my expectations after seeing all the potential scenarios for our final roster. If we plan on a 3rd star, it’s just really hard to build out depth. Unfortunately, I think we’re going to land at a similar roster to prior years except with a Tobias Harris upgrade as our 3rd best player. We’ll still have 2-3 mediocre role players on the roster who are way too important to our team.

I agree. That would be a very underwhelming result, although I'm not high on the other options either. Paul George, in particular, is sending huge red flags our direction.

Bridges feels like the big man version of Oubre in terms of impact, ceiling, and expectations in a competitive Playoff series. Not a guy who will deliver what's necessary as your third best player.

The trade market for teams looking to deal fake stars for cap relief isn't going to be that strong. Nearly all the teams that want to be all in have little to zero draft capital. I think the market is going to surprise.

Surround your stars with big athletic guys that are willing shooters.

If you're underwhelmed by Miles Bridges and Kelly Oubre as a wing tandem, look at PJ Washington and Derrick Jones in Dallas.

I go between unrealistic optimism and soul crushing nihilism over this offseason every hour lol.

I really think just getting more athletic in general and replacing Tobias with a better player does wonders but there is a chance thats not even enough or that better player isn't available or the athletes aren't...but then again corpses like Batum and Lowry gave us something at times so maybe its not the end of the world but then again relying on said corpses....and it goes back and forth lol.

I just want to see what "da plan" is at this point. Its going to come with a lot of question marks regardless of what it is....just got to hope its like the two finals teams, better than initially expected and we get good luck for the first time in my life ha. People expected KP to break down and Jrue to be washed and **** like them missing Smart's DAWG ENERGY and the J's not being finishers....and that all kinda was true but it didn't matter. I need that for us lol

hopefully Maxey has yet another leap in him I guess.
