Has always been a no brainer pick for me. Would like to see a reported workout to get my hopes even higher.

Let's say he is drafted by the heat, he becomes a plus defender and a good playmaker, but never becomes better than a medicore shooter. To me that's probably a really good backup pg. At 15 that's alright value to me.

Didn't we have that in Winslow? Lol. Idk about a pg w bad shot

I mean in the end kinda? Point Winslow didn't even come into being till near the end, he was just a wing most of the time. Plus he always got hurt the moment he built ANY momentum.

Gotta get more familiar with his game. Young euro prospects are always a trickier eval for me

Could be a nice 2nd rd pickup if he slips to 43.

Winslow definitely came to mind with Collier. It was reported that Collier shot poorly at the combine too. From a few clips you could see him clanking some of those shots. Has that Winslowish push form. Winslow also had the 60% FT red flag at Duke much like Collier. I’m not surprised one bit to see Collier now reported falling into the 20’s. Measured at 6’2.5 at combine no where near the 6’5 height even with shoes.

Collier is much more naturally talented than Winslow, though. Not a fan of the comparison though I understand why it was made.

I don't believe that's how things are trending for Dadiet.

From my early look, I'm seeing a comparable prospect to Kyshawn George, with better athletic upside

They're completely different as prospects. projected game, and college role IMO. They share similar shooting questions, just like almost every young and athletic slashing perimeter prospect

Winslow played offball PF at Duke and had nearly half of his FGA created for him. He also shot 17% in the midrange. Winslow also was set up in a perfect environment for his style of play on a super team.

Collier played all PG and created more than 2/3 of his own FGA. He shot 40% in the midrange. USC was a mess.

One of the better prospect comparisons I can find for Collier from a college use, production, and tools perspective is Dejounte Murray. Still not completely on point as Murray is more finesse while Collier is more power and the better overall slasher. But, I see it as informative for range of outcomes.

Would be nice if Collier had Murray’s 6’10 wingspan.

Absolutely. And it'd be nice if Murray had Collier's power and strength. It's not by chance that Collier had a 16% higher FTR in college and 15% more of his FGA at the rim

I would be fine with either but after catching some highlights of Tyson I think I prefer him over Da Silva, the former appears to have more potential to generate his own offense. It looks like they had a couple of fun matchups H2H this past season, Tyson dropped 30/25 in 2 games, Da Silva 22/20.

Tyson was a savage against Colorado. Was yamming, hitting 3’s, and stays looking to block shots. I’m a big fan
