Now why would Windhorst mention PG going to the Knicks this morning right before Shams tweets that out?

Mitch, Bogs, McBride, scraps, and picks gets it done contractually though you gotta wonder about LAC wanting to have big names for their new building.

Maybe LAC re-routes Mitch to a 3rd team for a swing man, inserts McBride in the SL next to a re-signed Harden and then hopes Kawhi comes back healthy, plus re-routing NYK pick(s) to other teams for more veteran help...

It would make more sense for LAC to ask for Randle for PG... and it makes sense for PG to opt out of his final year using his player option and re-up on an extension in this S&T scenario... maybe he'd take 4 years at 35m per or something...

it is a bit early but the season is so long and finals back up right up against the draft moves happen right away.

Also you can now negotiate to keep your own FA's right after the finals...so teams are jumping right into the offseason.

They just traded for a player in Josh Giddey that can't shoot and can't play off the ball when they already have Coby White, who has shown he fits their team better than Lavine.

I would be amazed if it didn't cost Randle but if it didn't I would like the idea more.

He could play small and power and still get enough minutes alongside OG and Randle. Then guys could be rested more too in the regular season.

it depends. if we can get him while keeping og and randle then that drastically changes things. paul george in that scenario probably make us the favorites, no matter how low you think of him

Maybe Randle + Mitch go out to LAC for Paul George in a S&T (3 year extension) and then Bogs and picks are used to bring in a younger 3&D stud to really complete the team... I know Mikal Bridges is probably out of the question, but there are others out there...

it sucks seeing how lavine's injuries made his value drop so much. he was fun to watch when he became an all star. hes probably damaged goods now. wonder which team is going to get him
